Water tip
Hi, I have always had plenty of ectopic beats and PVCs. I had a blood test back in early spring which showed my kidneys were showing signs of dehydration and to come back for another test but to drink plenty first. I have always drunk loads of decaf tea and some decaf coffee, but probably only a pint

Good morning you lovely lot, got a call out of the blue last Monday asking if I could come to the Brompton for an ablation for my pvcs on the 18th. Pvcs and pacs following acute afib episode and Apple watch ecg/ekg
Following my first (confirmed) afib attack a month ago(with rvr) I seem to have an occasional flip flop or thud and flutter from my heart. Cardiologist and EP discontinued my beta blocker after 10 days because my HR is already low and the flip flopping came a few days later. Yesterday I discovered

What is the Kpa score on a Fibroscan that indicates cirrhosis?
I recently had a Fibroscan and had a score of 9 which has freaked me out a bit, so I’ve tried to cut back on drinking and eat healthily. I’ve seen my GP for a follow up and he didn’t seem too concerned, I thought I was close to cirrhosis so am pretty scared, as I thought the Kpa for cirrhosis was 10

Hypothyroidism, chronic cystitis and histamine intolerance
Can anyone recommend good sources of information on the connection between hypothyroidism, recurrent cystitis and histamine/oxalate intolerance or possibly MCAS? I have had recurrent cystitis for many years, but in the past 2 years, it has become unbearable and I can be on antibiotics for weeks on end

Stopping Sotolol after ablation - fast HR and breathless
Hello, I am an ablation for Paroxysmal AFib and Flutter on 11th July. All went well. As well as AFib I used to get long periods ( a week or more) of other arrhythmia -PACs, SVTs, PVCs. They told me the ablation might not help stop these. During the 3 month blanking period, had some days of chest

PBC with Cirrhosis
I was diagnosed with PBC in 2016, I had 2 ARFI scans one in 2019 and one in 2020. Both of these showed F4 result. I did not get told that this was, in fact, Cirrhosis until September 2022 by a Consultant Heptatologist at a different hospital. As you can imagine this has left me feeling overwhelmed and

High albumin?
What could cause slightly high albumin in blood? Just had some blood tests done and this was the only thing out of range. When I Google it, I only find dehydration as a possible cause. I drink a ton of water so this seems very unlikely to me. My past levels have always been within range. The doctor didn

Rhythm with occasional premature ventricular contractions (PVCs).
After a ablation in-2016 I’ve been AFib free Recently my ECGs are showing rhythm with occasional premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). This is fairly frequent I’m also showing high BP during episodes my BP is normally pretty low 100/70 ish Should I be concerned?

PVCs for months
What's the longest time any of you have had episodes of PVCs for? I've been having a flare-up for just over 2 months now, ever since I had an infection (unrelated to the heart). Seeing a Cardiologist on Wednesday. I'll be interested to hear your experiences, I need reassurance. Thanks.

Heart palpatations and Afib
I've been having heart palpatations for about a year now. My smart watch regularly tells me I'm in Afib and I have an app that records my watch ECG. Of all these, I've had 91% abnormal results, with a PVC burden of 23%. I've had a 6 day holter on and should recieve feedback from this next week. I'm struggling

Quivering sensations
I hope you are all wellMy question : Has anyone experienced episodic "quivering" sensations that are very brief, 10 seconds or so? I've had something similar before, several years ago and wore a Zio patch for 2 weeks but never picked up any A-fib only PACs and PVCs. I am now 67 year old dx with paroxsymal

Can antibiotics trigger PVCs?
2 months ago I was hospitalised for a facial infection. I was given strong antibiotics and ever since I've had PVCs every day for hours at a time. I've had them for 10 years and they've been controlled well with daily Flecainide and Verapamil, until now. I've got a 7 day holter monitor on at present
