Propafenone triggering Atrial flutter and SVT
Hi All, I had a second ablation for persistent high load (18,000/ day) PVC's and non-sustained ventricular tachycardia, unfortunately after 3 months they reappeared in similar numbers. I was put on Propafenone (150x3 mg times a day) and then increased morning and evening doses to 225 mg. Propafenone

Bisoprolol and PVCS
I’m a 25 year old female that’s a mess right now. To start off my dad has a heart condition to where he gets into VT. He has a defibrillator, and he’s in his 40s. He recently had a genetic test done that says his condition isn’t genetic. But my cardiologist was like “well that doesn’t really mean anything

PVC and lightheaded
Hi I've been getting PVCs since Christmas 2017 I'm taking Verapamil and Tambocor at the moment heart rate is ok. Some days I'll get a little flutter feeling in the chest very quick not lasting long but I usually feel lightheaded afterwards for a while, which really makes me feel a little off and tired

Life changing
Hi everyone I've been getting pvc and svt since Christmas 2017. I'm taking Verapamil and Tambocor at the moment I still get the occasional strange short missed beat or similar some days. It makes me feel a little off like lightheaded and strange feeling. One specialist has told me to live with it

Maybe I shouldn’t post OCALIVA side effects. I’m hoping everyone here knows them
If you have
primary
biliary
cholangitis (
PBC
) with advanced
cirrhosis
, you may need a lower dose of OCALIVA. • Before you start OCALIVA, and during your treatment with OCALIVA, your healthcare provider will do tests to check your liver.

Runs of pvcs?
I've had tests done and my heart is over all healthy but I've always had pvc's every once in a while. I'm in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and lately I'm having runs of pvc's. I'll get them every other heart beat for about 15 minutes and then they'll eventually die out. What could this be? Why am I getting

Help with funeral costs
Hi All, Unfortunately my father passed away last week due to Cirrhosis of the liver at the age of 51. He was also diabetic and suffered from severe nerve damage in his feet leaving him in no position to work. My father was divorced, lived alone on benefits in a council rented flat, he had no estate

How AF feels - question from a PVC person?
Dear All, I had not pleasant episode this night that landed me in the Cardiology. I am the long time PVC, bigeminy, quadrigeminy and some NSVT sufferer, but this night I woke up with pretty fast beat ~120 bpm with my normal around 65-75 at rest, funny ECG shape with pocket ECG with no sinus beat where

Blanking period may be way longer than 3 months!
Interesting post - afibbers.org/forum/read.php... the blanking period might be way longer. U have seen the paper with statistics in thousands where post-ablation PVCs from AF ablation that PEAKS at 3 months (that is nominal blanking where no judgement for success or failure can be made) but subsides

Possible Endo with interstitial cystitis. Pressure feeling, frequent urination, pelvic pain
My symptoms started 3 months ago with a vaginitis and possible UTI. Got 2 different treatment and I still had pain all over my lower abdomen. It felt like I had PID, but none of the doctors believed my pain, I just had a little inflammation left. Ultrasound and gyno exams were always negative. Thought

Partial liver transplant
Has anyone had a discussion with their consultant about partial liver transplant from a living donor? My husband has end stage liver disease and although we have read lots of information on liver transplants I can't see anything specifically about living donors. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can ablation make arrhythmia worse? Being wise in selecting the options.
Apparently yes - just learned from EP - the ablation is not a perfect solution, in particular that ABLATION CAN GET THINGS (MEANS ARRHYTHMIA) WORSE! The usually mentioned complications like groin bruising (I had my leg swollen for 4 weeks) and puncture of the heart (thanks God did not have this one)

New diagnosis of Vasovagal reflex
Hi, I’m 37, 240 lbs, 5’ 4”, Caucasian, female...I was working my usual 12hr shift (on 8/22/18) and was about 6hrs in when I felt a flutter in my chest with nausea. I quickly sat down and hooked myself up to a bp machine. My heart rate was 58 and I got an error reading on the machine for my blood pressure
