Anyone experience a hypnic jerk with heart palps? Especially when they are overly exhausted or stressed?
I've been pulling in all nighters, been dehydrated and have bad anxiety just based on what I have going on in my life right now. I'm growing an online business and holding down a sales job at the same time. So All good stuff, so that's a positive at least. I notice at night, when I'm trying to lie down

Is it my imagination?
I have noticed a sharp increase in posts starting with; PVC, SVT, AF, PALPITATIONS, ECTOPICS etc. This is since the warmer summer temperatures started. Now I wonder if heat has a link to arrhythmias. Mine has become more and more noticeable.

PVCs and any activity
Hello, could anyone tell me if they experience PVCs with any form of light activity? I seem to get them at rest, singles, couplets, and any form of light activity seems to make them 100 times worse. Even walking into the garden, hanging out washing, walking up stairs, putting the bin out is enough

Liver Transplants at the QE Birmingham.
This is really for those who are on the liver transplant waiting list, and who are awaiting that elusive phone call. I have heard that for the time being, all liver transplants are on hold, until this present epidemic has calmed down. Those patients are advised to stay on contact with the transplant

Liver transplants, and a moan?
I have Liver Cirrhosis and my liver is ok thanks to the gods, but I asked my Doctor if If I should go on the transfer list just in case, but he told me I wouldn't get one because of my age I,m only 62 . this really upset me. Youth these days need a brain transplant ?

PVC, very scared
Hello for the last 2 weeks I have been having episodes that I can best describe as feeling like someone just scared me to death, my heart pumps really hard and it feels like the air is being pushed from my lungs. I finally went to hospital today and they said I had a PVC and to follow up with a cardiologist

What is the way forward?
Hi all, I have only posted once before but all the answers and help I received were amazing. I support my husband who has decompensated cirrhosis - non alcoholic, probably caused by loads of prescription meds he had to take for ulcerative colitis. So, over the last 18 months to 2 years he has had most

Advice re. my mum’s BP (NSTEMI last year)
Apologies in advance for the long post, but I feel like I’m losing my mind here, and the detail is relevant. We have an extensive, highly varied cardiac history, particularly on my mum’s side. She had obvious cardiac symptoms for years, even had a dodgy ecg when participating in a medical research project

Fibroscan
Had a Fibroscan 5 months ago which read 33. My BMI was 35 and I was a heavy drinker. I also have hemochromatosis which means there is to much iron in my liver making it inflamed. I’ve had 2 x MRIs, 2 x Ultrasound , CT scan and endoscopy which all indicated no liver damage . The Fibroscan reading indicates

Heartbroken 💔
Another liver angel 😇 has passed... No one knows her on here and I can't post on Facebook out of respect for her family... And I not sure others understand the bond you make with someone when you have had your transplants within days of each other and especially when you are the same age and you click

Heart problems
I’m still convinced I have a heart problem.. I went to the doctor and got a couple of test and I don’t know the names of it so I’m going to try to explain it. One test I had stickers all over me and the seconds test I had a monitor for about a week. She said my heart was normal but she thinks I have

Endo, cystitis and constipation
For the past nine months or so I've have cystitis around seven times, always needing antibiotics to clear up. I've also suffered from constipation three times severe enough to need prescription meds to clear. I've begun to notice the constipation comes around the time of my period. Has anyone else experienced

NHS UK on line information sheet: interstitial cystitis
I totally understand that at the moment there are more important things to do than updating online information sheets. However, once the coronavirus is over (very soon for everyone), could we ask the NHS to include endometriosis in the section explaining what conditions are associated with interstitial

UTI
Hi So I’ve recently had UTI, and was on antibiotics but now I think I have it again. The doctor wants me to go for a blood test at the hospital, but I’m quite concerned about this? With everything that’s going on is it safe.
