had premature ventricular contractions, and a fib. After two oblations I am now in sinus rhythm. Is it safe to take Adderall at this time.

You must talk to your doctor before using these drugs, we cannot advise.

Best wishes.

I have no experience of Adderall but have read it is safe at therapeutic doses for treating problems such as ADHD and narcolepsy. Only a qualified doctor can safely advise on its use, I would say, since it does have effects on the cardiovascular system such as increasing blood pressure and heart rate both of which can trigger AF on prone individuals.

IMO (as a retired medicinal chemist) the answer is NO!

Adderal is simply rebranded amphetamine (think "speed", "meth", "crank", etc.). It is a potent adrenergic agent, acting like adrenaline. It will speed up the heart, can cause palpitations and arrhythmias in healthy people. It is NOT a "clean" drug, and potentially harmful to folks with any cardiac condition.
