Has anyone tried Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for RLS?
Hi, I'm fairly new to the forum and have suffered with RLS for 50 years - but it has become a lot worse in the last 5 years. I have read with interest lots of posts regarding different treatments. I'm not at the stage where I want to take a powerful medication permanently so tried the Iron supplements

6 Months+ of Asthma Issues
Hi all, This is something of a ramble, but I feel like I'm at the end of my tether. At the end of May I had several severe asthma attacks and I still don't feel right over half a year later. In the immediate aftermath of the attacks, I was given prednisone to help get the inflammation down and since

Gluten Free French Toast & Greek Blueberry Yogurt: Lunch
This is what I had today for lunch. It’s made with egg beaters and gluten free bread with cinnamon mixed in all together. It was 41 total carbs. when you add in the yogurt on the side. It was really good and a high protein low carb. meal.😀👍 Stay safe, happy and healthy!😀👍🌈

How much does mucus affect peak flow?
I was getting 350, then a bit later I cleared some mucus, I then got 400. It seems like mucus is making my readings worse. Seems like it could mess with tracking it. Do you disregard reading like that? This happens to me a lot. Thanks

Lung Stiffness
My peak flow hasn't changed, and I dont have any chest tightness or any other asthma-y symptoms, but I've noticed over the last few days whenever I'm taking my inhalers my lungs feel stiff and sore on the inhale. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Its more of a discomfort than anything

Cure for NAFLD within 1 month (confirmed)
Hey guys. It’s been a while since i posted on this site. If you look at my previous post, you will see that I have reversed NAFLD last year. This year I gained 30LBs and my liver enzymes went high again recently . But again with proper diet and exercise, I was able to bring it down to normal range.

Day 314: A Busy Day Helps.
So much easier to keep on track if you don't have any time to think about food...especially the carbs you crave. Shed a few this week, running and reading next week, then on to LCHF following that. New post: https://seanfit1973.wixsite.com/fattofit/post/day-314-a-busy-day-helps Stay strong and keep

New to asthma at 38... struggling
Just been diagnosed with asthma by the nurse after 3 months of issues.. Shortness of breath, wheezing and cough. New to this to be honest and I’m finding it quite a challenge to adapt to. I’m 38. Had first proper attack about 3 weeks ago, went to A&E they sent me away with steroids. Did peak flow over

Thanks
Just a brief post to express my deep appreciation for the huge amount of support that Lytham and moreless injected into my '4-week plan' over the past couple of months. The original intent was simply to boil down some basic instructions into an easy-to-read document, but their enthusiasm has done

Asthma slow onset and atypical - getting help
Hi, I have the sort of asthma that doesn't fit the norm in that I don't weeze. I get breathless from doing things like walking but when I sit down it tends to go away after awhile. Last month I had a hell of an experience trying to get help for my worsening asthma symptoms. Part of the problem is covid

Insulin Newbie
My blood sugars are in the 20s. Because I can't take medication without being sick etc, my consultant is going to start me on insulin. Any tips? What will this involve? I am already low carb - will I need to stay low carb?

In the right place.
So it's taken me about 10 weeks to finally get school sorted and everything to a place where I am ready to get back on it. Lots to do this weekend but from Monday, I'll start my blog back up, write on here again and go back to where I started, aiming for a healthier life. I have until Jan 1st and I know

Very low TSH. Dr wants to reduce thyroxine.
I feel like crying and don’t know what to do. My Dr asked me to do a routine blood test to repeat my prescription. The results were; TSH 0.14 FT4 20 Vitamin D 57. N nmol/L less than 75nmol/L is insufficient I have been taking 3000iu of vit D a day for the last 3 months yet my vit D is still insufficient

OMAD and running
Hi all. I'm fairly new to LCHF, been doing it for 10 weeks and have lost 32lbs so far with 28lbs left to my goal. I also do IF and days I work only have OMAD. However I want to start running soon, work days I'm not home til 5ish and these are the days I do OMAD the most. However I'm not sure how that
