So..... you have asthma!
I hope most of this is not new to most people (and so apologies for probably boring you senseless š ). But there seem to be quite a number of people new to asthma (hi and welcome to HU!) who haven't been told the basics and for whom proper monitoring and care is not happening. Also I know of people who

Hello all, I have recently buyed peak flow meter and I started to measure my peak flow in the morning, afternoon and evening before taking my therapy. I found it strange that even when I feel symptoms (chest tightness) according to my peek flow meter I am in green zone( which should be from 517-600

Tightening Chest
Hi, I have an ongoing cough/phlegm problem which I hope to have investigated in the New Year. I returned to the UK 3 days ago and as is the norm when here I am coughing more, have a wheeze and feel a slight uncomfortable/tight feeling in my chest. I have increased my AirFluSal inhaler to 3 puffs twice

Saniq app - set normal peak flow
Hello, Iāve just started using the Saniq app to record my peak flow, and my normal rate is set much too low, I think itās based on my first entry. Iāve tried removing all my entries and starting again, but the normal is still set the same. Iām sure I heard that you can set your normal rate yourself

Cough. Ongoing.
My āasthma coughā has been present for about 4 months now. Often during the day itās hardly there, but at night/early morning i have a coughing fit, which means getting up, having a hot drink, and sitting up. Swede & carrot fritters
Hi everyone and hereās a pic of tonightās tea. I made the fritter idea up and although they fell apart a bit, they were well yummy. Chop half a swede and 3 medium carrots into small chunks, steam for about ten minutes then mash with butter. Stir in a fried onion, a large egg and a handful of grated cheddar

Hi, I am being treated for asthma as I have the classic symptoms - shortness of breath, tight chest, difficulty getting a satisfying yawn. I have had the blue inhaler for a few years - and my peak flow sits at ~330 before and after using this. I have used the brown inhaler for a few years but it doesn't

Atypical asthma ling function results
I posted before about my atypical asthma, as there are quite a few people with similar symptoms that have also been dismissed I thought I would share my results. Additionally if anyone has any insight, would be interested to hear. I pad to have a lung function test at a hospital to get some answers and
