How much does mucus affect peak flow?

I was getting 350, then a bit later I cleared some mucus, I then got 400. It seems like mucus is making my readings worse. Seems like it could mess with tracking it. Do you disregard reading like that? This happens to me a lot. Thanks

Mucus would affect my peak flow if it’s stuck in the airways. If you can clear it first it might be more helpful for a PF reading.

Are you throat clearing a lot? Or bringing up mucus in cough? My doc has just given me a nasal spray which helped me sleep last night. I get really stuffy nose at night usually.

Thanks. Its stuck in my airways, taking the PF dislodges it and brings it up. I also use the huffing technique. I think it's too low to be just post nasal drip, but any wont help. I have nasal spray but it doesn't help that much. Dr is judging my requests for Dymista that Asthma UK recommend. They want me on the cheap generic whether it works or not. Which are you on?
