Capsaicin cream- a cautionary tale
I have lupus, Raynaud's and erythromelalgia. The pain and burning in my feet from the EM has been waking me every night for years. The pain has been getting worse and lasting for longer recently. Simple painkillers don't help and I'm not sure that the Pregabalin makes any difference. My rheumatologist

Skin and hair dryness
Hi everyone, hope you are all doing as well as can be expected. This is mostly a question for the ladies but men are free to jump in as well ! Since giving up alcohol due to cirrhosis diagnosis, I drink gallons of water and eat tons of fruit and veg but can't seem to get rid of skin dryness and flakiness

Has anyone had any experience taking Aloe Vera shots each day? Benefits or negatives obviously besides the taste!

Sebaceous cysts? Anyone know how to shrink them?
I removed a cyst on my head when I was a child and it simply grew back within one year. I find them so difficult to get rid of and I'm not sure how to; I can't keep having surgery. Does anyone know how to get rid of them naturally? I've tried castor oil and aloe vera with no success.

Upper Arm Weakness and PAIN
Okay, so this may seem funny, so if you have to laugh go right ahead. There's a lot that we are not told when having an ablation. On my second ablation, when I was awoke from GA - under about 4.5 hours, I overheard the nurse say to the recovery nurse that I had had SEVEN cardioversions. The third ablation

A guideline for the diagnosis and management of polycythaemia vera. A British Society for Haematology Guideline
My haematologist, Dr Francis at Sheffield Hallamshire Hospital, was thoughtful enough to point this out to me and gave me the reference. He told me that, based on the guidelines, he wanted to increase my hydroxy rather than send me for my usual venesection. I understand this is because I am now over

3 month post CABG bloodwork is....odd.
45 year old male. Obviously I'll be discussing this with my cardiologist but I figured I'd share these numbers and get some thoughts. First was 4/9 of this year pre-CABG. Second number was yesterday. Total- 137 - 135 LDL- 80 to 70 HDL- 37.3 to 38.2 (this is a bugger) Triglycerides- 98 to 135

Control and Treatment of SIBO and IBS
Hello, this is my general response to help people find a baseline. First, go to the doctors and get yourself checked for intestinal infections, and whatever other tests they want to do. Most people find they are all clear, and that IBS is a condition brought on by our modern diet, freely accessible

Fatigue fighters, please
I have primary sjogrens markers, dry mouth and nose, supposedly dry eyes, no systemic issues to date. My teeth have had severe issues. Dealing with that by brushing/rinsing/gargling with Aloe Vera. I've managed issues like brain fog with herbals/vites; working on dry skin issues now. The issue I really

Helping your teeth and mouth
I have primary sjogrens markers, dry mouth and nose, supposedly dry eyes, no systemic issues to date. My teeth have suffered badly. Most of my molars are gone; I am working on having their roots removed, it's a $s issue. For a couple of years while this was ongoing, I had several tooth infections
