Pregnant or irregular cycle?

Hey girls, just a quick question.

I was on the evra patch for about 1 year, came off for about 2 months then went back on it for another 5 months or so. When i came off it the first time my periods came after 2 months and i was regular. When i came off it this time my period came back within 1 month and i had 2 cycles which were both within 2 days of each other so pretty much regular. Now i should have had my period 9 days ago but nothing. I've been getting period like pains for almost 2 weeks, I'm trying for a baby so I'm hoping Im pregnant but tests keep saying I'm not and my emotions are everywhere. Could it be that I'm pregnant and have to wait longer for a test or that i may miss a cycle or have a very late cycle (which has never happened to me as I'm always regular)

Please help!!!! I'm literally all over the place not knowing what's going on with me :( x
