Fatigue fighters, please

I have primary sjogrens markers, dry mouth and nose, supposedly dry eyes, no systemic issues to date. My teeth have had severe issues. Dealing with that by brushing/rinsing/gargling with Aloe Vera. I've managed issues like brain fog with herbals/vites; working on dry skin issues now. The issue I really find hard to deal with is the fatigue. Previously, I would have 'good' days where fatigue was at bay. Now, those types of days happen very rarely. I must rest/nap during the day or my entire system goes out of whack; if I do not rest/nap, I am not able to think clearly - I am not able to trust decisions that I make and if possible, I defer most decisions until I am rested, physical coordination suffers, my emotional response spectrum narrows and I become angered very easily, my body feels heavy and sluggish, my memory is eclipsed by all of this. I have tried a regimen of herbals/vites to manage the lack of energy - helps somewhat, but typically only slightly. Recommendations anyone?

Would love an answer too. I feel the fatigue coming on and have to get somewhere safe as I just go out to it. No control over it. Can sleep for 2 to 5 hours!

I have sjogrens, hashimoto and psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

Hello there,

I took Plaquenil for 17 years, and it helped with dryness and fatigue enormously. So you may discuss with your Rheumatologist. But need to know that about toxicity on vision which is reportedly quite low in first 5 years and while on this drug you will need a good regular eye checks using multiple different tests/technologies.

Best wishes and warm regards, I hope you will feel better soon.

I noted 'I took Plaquenil for 17 years...'. Does that mean you stopped taking the drug because you were healed from the fatigue and dryness?

A Naturopathic MD prescribed me Liothyronine for a slightly low Thyroid. He doesn't believe anyone should be in the low normal range. He also prescribed a low dose of Testosterone (for which I'm paying). Also keep up your Vitamin D level but dangerous to go overboard. This has helped me a lot. My fatigues wasn't so debilitating, though. And I get tested annually for all three.
