Sulfasalazine rash part 2
This morning I itch like mad, the rash has spread and my cheek are swollen. 2 antihistamine later and its calmed down quite a bit. I went to a pharmacist for advice and more antihistamines. She said to use crotamiton cream too and said sulfasalazine stays in your system for 7 to 14 days! It looks like

FCR Cycle 4 (For CLL) - Itchy Rash
Hello all CLL enthusiasts. I have just finished cycle 4 of my 6 cycle FCR treatment after being on 8-9 years W&W. I am on the FLAIR trial, but got randomly sorted into the current treatment. In hindsight I am not too disappointed as FCR is the current gold standard treatment, it hasn't been too bad to

Itching, Hydrea and H1 inhibitors
Hi everyone. Perhaps I was being a little over optimistic, bu I hoped that taking Hydroxicarbamide would improve my PV itching. I've only been taking it for 10 days, so perhaps it's a little early to judge, but since taking it my itching is definitely worse. it is now with me most of the time, not

Skin allergies worsened post Chemotherapy treatments
NHL treated and now in remission for 6 months; prior to this I did have a diagnosis of metal allergy which continues to flare up and cause great discomfort due to itchy skin. I have creams for this allergic reaction but the itchy skin continues despite application of cream (which is very expensive)

Cimzia - week 2
Evening peeps😆 Well, Wednesday was my 2nd lot of my loading dose (2x200mg injections) The nurse visited my home (a lovely bubbly lady) and was there for nearly 2 hours! She made sure I was confident with doing my own injections (with a pen-like device) and talked me through the procedure. I chose to

Do Antihistamines make rls worse ? My mum takes cetrizine daily due to allergies and I'm wondering if they make the pain worse because today she took one in the morning and accidentally took another in the evening and her rls is kicking in.

Levothyroxine - does a low dose contribute to weight gain
Hi, I was first diagnosed back in 2005, (age 45) after visiting the Dr with weight gain, and severe itching of my arms, I was told then that I my thyroid could have been underactive for the past year (maybe more). I had previously been a size 10, using the gym, enjoyed going out (normal life). I gave
