Help... Mystery
I've had rashes on and off all over my body since September and then again started in the last 2 months. I get swelling (knees, hip, wrists, elbows) and they are very painful, with musculoskeletal pain and headaches. Sometimes they appear as raised red bumps others just blotchy redness. I get severe

Possible PBC noob
Itching for 6 months, unbearable at times. Fatigue for about a year. Seriously high liver functions, high c-reactive protein, normal glucose, and mid-range bilirubin. Occasional discomfort of upper right abdomen for about 8 years. Tested for allergies (due to itching), but all came back negative. Took

Swollen face
Morning all Just got back from the DRS again face really swollen eyes closed and streaming, really fed up with this and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. I live on antihistamines takes about a week for symptoms to disappear and feel like flu and sickness. Despairing and don't know where to turn.

Rituximab
Have see a locum consultant on Sunday. He told me stop taking Lefludomid straight away as my blood pressure is very high. He examined me, read my history and says I am a candidate for biological treatment. He then arranged for me to have a steroid injection. I then returned to the hospital Tuesday

Getting a prescription for an unapproved treatment
As I've put in other posts I was recently diagnosed with severe photosensitivity with solar urticaria to all visible light and a separate lupus photosensitivity, again probably to all visible light. As the normal prescribable sunscreen is not enough for me my consultant at Guys has prescribed Dundee

Is this IBS/Collitis or something else?
I was wondering if someone could help me. I am relucant to go to my GP as my symptoms are 'on and off' and often just a bit of nausea and feeling that I need to open my bowel constantly. Don't want to 'bother' them (plus it's a pain getting an appointment) I am 42 and female and I often have diarrhoea

What caused my hypothyroidism?
I'm new here, and an American, so I hope you don't mind me posting here. I believe I've had hypothyroidism for about 13 years. I've always been a low energy person who gained weight easily, even as a kid. However, I did not get symptoms until my late 30s. My symptoms were extreme fatigue, oversleeping

Confused
Hi, me again. I've been taking anti inflammatories for a neck injury for many years, and antihistamines for numerous allergies. Can either of these suppress lupus symptoms or affect blood tests? Many thanks x
