Zero sex Drive - shall I come off all medication???
Hi. This is my first post but I follow the forum as I find it very helpful. I have had typical endometriosis symptoms for about 3 years now. I am 22 years old. I had a laparoscopy Just over a year ago and “no endometriosis found”. My consultant is adamant that I have endometriosis from the description

Beta Blockers
I've had AF for about 21 years, first paroxysmal, now persistent. Up to 2 months ago my only medication for persistent, with a heart rate of about ninety beats per minute, was Warfarin. While in hospital to have my appendix out I was put on a beta-blocker, Bisoprolol 2.5mg a day. The immediate benefit

Allergy
Hi, Has anyone had an allergic reaction to alcohol before? Over Xmas/New years I had it twice whilst drinking Vodka. I don’t usually drink Vodka these days and I have drank it previously with no reaction. I couldn’t breathe and my skin went red & blotchy. I took an antihistamine tablet and it went away

Nature thyroid advice?
Hi everyone, after some guidance. I started Levo 3 months ago, currently been on 75mcg for 3 weeks. On Monday I started with allergy symptoms - hives, nausea, swollen lips and eyes and even got taken to a+e on Wednesday as I was extremely short of breathe. I’m on steroids and antihistamines gut again

Medicines for a cold
I'm getting a cold. Are there any cold medicines I can take that won't aggravate the rls? I've heard that antihistamines do make rls worse. Thank you all.

Allergic reaction, usual?
Hi there, I’m after some advice. Yesterday I started with a bad allergic reaction, hives, swollen lips and eyes, aching joints, nausea etc. I’ve taken antihistamine but it’s flared up again today! I read online that apparently levothyroxine can cause a histamine response? I’ve been on it for just

First Rituximab Infusion
Happy new year to everyone! On the 28th December, I had my first Rituximab infusion. My consultant began by telling me my lumbar puncture came back clear and my flexible sigmoidoscopy showed mild Colitis, which he hopes the Rituximab will also treat. First I was given 100mg Methylprednisolone, followed

Leukeran (Chlorambucil) Rash?
In May of this year, I was diagnosed with Stage III CLL, and then a CLL specialist bumped that to Stage IV. In August, I started a course of monthly treatments with Gazyva and IVIg, and then 70mg of Leukeran at 15-day intervals. In November I began itching with each round of Leukeran, and then the itch

Puffy lip
In June this year i went to my GP with a strange puffy area which had suddenly appeared overnight below my bottom lip. She had no idea what it was. As I'd also had some discomfort at the front of my neck since the start of the year, I asked for a thyroid function test. My results were a bit high with

Migraine auras and antihistamines..
I am 53 and recently started getting regular migraine auras (as many as 6 a month, since July) after reading somewhere that antihistamines might help, I decided to try them. Strangely enough I was on them for a month and I havent had any. I dont like taking tablets long term, so I have now stopped

Itchiness without rash - could be caused by high eosinophils ?
Has anybody with eosinophilic asthma got extreme itchiness ( fingertips , legs ) without rash - antihistamines and cortisone creams don't seem to help . Just wonder if it's one of the symptoms of high eosinophils and I should start my prednisone rescue pack
