Sore nose
Does anyone diagnosed with Sjogrens have issues with a sore nose? Not from blowing your nose too much, or as far as I know, from nasal dryness. The fleshy part of my nostril is sore and sometimes swollen. It is not always sore. My rheumy's assistant didn't seem to think too much of it after I told

Waiting to do next set of liver enzyme tests, obsessing about everything!
New to this group and want to thank all of you who contribute your stories, it’s been eye opening to say the least. I will do my next round of liver enzyme tests next week, which will be 3.5 weeks since the first tests. I will be traveling for 1 month shortly thereafter, that is why it wasn’t scheduled

Not so natural remedy for thrush!
Hi Has anyone had success with a natural thrush remedy? Long story cut short, is that I am just about allergic to everything. Lots of different foods and lots of medicines. Have thrush and Canestan gave me hives. Steroids give me puffy lips. I have been scouring the net for solutions. Yogurt and honey

Is it a cold, flu, viral or bacterial infection?
Can anyone tell me how to determine if I have a cold, flu, viral or bacterial infection? I was around a guy who had an awful cough. He's treating it with an occasional cough drop and occasional shot of robatussin, and 2000 mg of vit c. It didn't put him to bed. He may also have some nasal congestion

Seronegative RA and a cold or upper respiratory infection
Does coming down with a cold or upper respiratory infection exeracerbate seronegative RA? Symptoms didn't seem to be too bad but I came down sick with stopped up nose, mucous in my chest, and extreme ache ALL over, and tiredness despite many hours of sleep. I'm taking guaiffenisen and an antihistamine

CLL and worsening allergy but poor immunity
Came across a great article on the relationship between inflammation, allergies and a poor immunity in CLL. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3844117/ Every now and then I hear about people with CLL on the forums saying that they never really get properly sick. So for example a cold comes

My hay fever has been truly awful this week
To the point where I missed runs because if it wasn’t my eyes streaming, I was sneezing, blowing my nose every few steps or coughing. But having finally got my cough more or less under control, I drove across the county to go on a gentle Canicross run this morning. I’d taken 2 decongestant tablets,

Asthma
Hello all, Ive never thought that asthma would be such a dreaded thing. It gets worse and worse everyday. Im glad Ive finally realised that its not an everyday thing to have to take two inhalers, strong antihistamines, nasal spray just to get through the day. Ive been trying to find a cause to raise

Hashimoto's and Antibiotics.
Hello all, I hope you are all well, or improving. I have a question re Hashimoto's and Antibiotics. I recall reading something a while ago about people with Hashimito's having to be careful with Antihistamines and Antibiotics as they can cause flares. I may have also imagined this as my brain fog was

Allergic to Nicorette QuickMist?
Hi All, I quit cigarettes six weeks ago using nicorette quickmist, but after about a week my skin was coming up in itchy hives. Never happened before! I started taking an antihistamine which has helped a little but by my skin is still very dry and itchy.. I'm wondering has anyone else had this experience
