Allergic to Nicorette QuickMist?

Hi All, I quit cigarettes six weeks ago using nicorette quickmist, but after about a week my skin was coming up in itchy hives. Never happened before! I started taking an antihistamine which has helped a little but by my skin is still very dry and itchy.. I'm wondering has anyone else had this experience with quickmist? I tried not using quickmist for a few days but found cravings for cigarettes really bad so I started using it again. I really don't want to go back on the cigarettes but am very tempted at this stage :-(

Hi I have not heard anything good about those quit mists and sprays, in fact lots of people on this site say they are very addictive. There are lots of other NRT products like gum and losanges and the patch (which I am using) that you can use instead. . Have you been to the doctor about the reaction to the spray? It might be a good idea and you can also get advice about how to continue on with your quit as well. Quite a few people on this site quit using champex. Six weeks of no smoking is a big deal! Don't give up!
