I'm so tired.... as it never seems to end.
For the past couple months anxiety and pain has been taking over my body. I rarely sleep I would say about 2 to 5 hours daily sometimes not at all for 2 days straight. I've been having continuous pains from my neck right down to my toes and more so in my hips and knees. I thought maybe it was a flair

Need some advice, should I start dialysis?
Hi everyone. I'm a longer time reader, first time poster! I would appreciate hearing your experiences of starting dialysis. I have CKD stage 5 with a gfr of between 9-12. I also have anaemia which I am going to have a blood transfusion to try to help with this. My plan for dialysis is to have PD at home

Not sure what's going on
Morning everyone Hubby had his transfusion on the 18th July, he was given 2 units instead of the 3 possibly 4 as first told. He says he feels better i.e. able to walk without feeling whacked. The problem I have is, he is looking yellow and his whites of his eyes are yellow indicating jaundice. Obviously

Bleeding resulted in ambulance ride to PIEDMONT HOSPITAL and admitted to see if transfusion was necessary. Hemo labs were ok. CT Scan and the MRI of stomach Area were done and waiting for results. Doctor

Started on thyroxine 2 weeks ago and still feel like crap. Would love to hear stories of people who feel better!
I have had hypo symptoms for nigh on 20 years (since 1st pregnancy) so I was so happy to finally be treated but I feel more tired than ever. I got a copy of my last bloods and see that my ferritin is 22, iron levels are well below range and I have very high markers for inflammation which explains why

Quick update
As I previously posted, hubby is due a stoma reversal on the 25th July. We had a phone call yesterday from the CLL Clinical Nurse stating that colorectal team have requested that he has a blood transfusion before the op. He is having this on the 18th July, they expect him to have at least 4 units.
