USP or API sources for different NDT thyroid brands

Hi, I was wondering if anybody has information about which NDT brands use which Desiccated Thyroid Extract (USP or API) sources and where these USP/API sources are manufactured? I am particularly interested to know about Armour, NP and Erfa and even the new brand Adthyza.

So far as I am aware, they all use an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) that is called Thyroid USP.

USP is the The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) which sets standards for many pharmaceutical substances. So far as I know, no other standard is used, anywhere, for desiccated thyroid products with official declared thyroid hormone content. And if they do not conform to USP, we simply do not know what they are.

However, some companies might refer to Thyroid USP but without any oversight by the USP! Just that they claim adherence to the standard.

One of my medicines documents is expressly about desiccated thyroid products and lists all the primary manufacturers I know of. But there is uncertainty about which supplies what to whom!
