Quandary??
I've been constantly on 3mg this year apart from 3 weeks when I made it to 2.5mg after 6.5 years. Couldn't sustain it though as I had nil energy. I had a synacthen test last autumn when I was on 3.5mg which they said was good. My problem is I feel really stiff. I can get out of a chair as I have physio

Frozen shoulder
Hi all, I’m Et jak2 positive. Been on hydroxy and aspirin for c 2 years. No real Side effects. About 6 months ago I developed a frozen shoulder - no obvious reason. My physio who is terrific thanks it might - he’s very non committal about it - be related to the hydroxy as it’s an inflammation

Still Waiting
I’ve been in agony for ages, it all started last April, pain in my lower left side that started as a dull ache but just got progressively worse. It’s around the hip, buttocks, lower left leg and sometimes as high as under the rib cage. After keeping a pain diary I’ve noticed it does flare up around the

I have a severe axonal lesion of the peroneal nerve in my lower left leg and foot. I am interested in gaining more info on my condition.
In November 2019 it is presumed that I had some sort of fall and lay unconscious for at least 48 hours before being discovered by family members. I have no recollection of any of this. I awoke in hospital to find that my foot felt incredibly heavy and I was immobile and bedridden. In addition I was put

Just Diagnosed Osteoporosis - Saying Hello
Just established my profile and want to say hello to all. I will be reading through posts to learn more of what each of you have experienced. I am most interested in managing this condition without meds due to the side effects with the jaw. Update 6/26/2022 full story: I was told by prior Gyno’s stand

Physio didn't help
Hi all. Had my first and only physio session just now here in Spain. Lovely chap, great therapy but it's actually made my T worse. On the flip side, he said I have no issues with my neck so my T is not coming from there. I'm just a little stiff and hunched over so need to sit up more. Ho hum. Onwards

Hello all Haven't posted for a while as generally, things OK ish. Had a few ups and downs with the HRT but seems to be good at the moment and overall a benefit to my various UIA related issues. By no means a cure. Still on hydroxyc. which is still keeping the Raynaud's at bay and I do feel fewer flare

as I could do nothing. Like a baby had to learn everything. That's when my Undifferentiated connective tissue disease kicked in big time. My immune system attacks the good organs not the bad. It has left me with many issues.

Rheumatology gave me an urgent referral to
Physiotherapy
. They dealt with it fast. I had a phone consultation with a lovely chap this morning. He can see some muscular skeletal issues on my MRI that he may be able to help me with. I have my first face to face in 2 weeks.

MRI and EEG confirm no stroke! 😮💨
My Jeff is still pretty groggy, however, he’s definitely more lucid. He has gotten a little confused, but is about 90% back to normal, but that’s when he’s awake. He constantly nods off and still sleeps a lot. After an MRI and an EEG, they were able to officially rule out stroke. Jeff had the wires

Lupus and back pain
Hey all, does anyone suffer with back pain? I’ve always had back problems, but they’re gradually getting worse, I’ve always put it down to bad posture and being tall. But it’s feeling constant and I’m struggling to feel comfortable most of the time. I’ve got a drs app and a physio referral next week.

Still bruised after 11 weeks, is this RA sero + at work?
My left arm is recovering from the 4 fractures, physio is helping, but reduced range of movement. The bruising and swelling was extensive, my forearm is still quite discoloured after 11 weeks! I’ve researched, it seems that it might be due to RA, any body know more about this? Go gently
