Endometriosis, stomach inflammation, severe back, buttock, leg pain, possible bowel prolapse and other issues. Anyone else ?
Where to start? I'm 44 and believe I've had endometriosis since starting periods. Formally diagnosed late 20s. 3 lots of surgery..last one 9 years ago. I think stage 4. Have endo on my bowel. Started getting bouts of more tummy cramps and urgency to open bowels on occasions last year. Saw GP...had bloods

First run after physio!
Hi all, So this morning I did my first short run after a few weeks of physio. I have IT band syndrome (I think). I felt the familiar twinge on the outside of my knee after just 1k but it wasn't as painful. It still is a little sore. I'll continue physio but does anyone have any further tips? Thanks.

To go out or not go out 😐 (Even Misty can't decide)
I did my last run on Friday which was a steady recovery run following my previous intervals run a day or 2 earlier . The run on Friday was steady but I did feel an occasional discomfort in my back , nothing painfull , just unusual, this came and went a couple of times during the run. I finished the run

Neck Pain that causes pains around the eyes and the head.
Over the last 6 months and after a major op I have landed up with neck pain and popping when I move my head. The physio at the GP`s thinks I spend too much time on the PC. It is stress and as the day comes to an end and I settle down with my wife to enjoy some TV it often subsides. I have tried blue

Strength exercises for running
Hello all, so I just did my 1st half marathon (😀😀😀), but had several injuries in the run up (no pun intended) and during the event battled with pain in my groin, quad & hip in my right leg. Up until now, my strengthening exercises have been a mixture of things given to me by the physio to fix injuries

Post op care
My dad had open aortic valve replacement 2 weeks ago at St. George’s. He was discharged within 4 days of the operation with minimal medication and no plan for physio or rehab if any kind. His follow up with the surgeon is not until July and is only a phone appointment. Is that right? How can they tell

NERVE COMPRESSION, looking for a solution

Give me the strength to deal with life
Last year I spent approximately six months with problems with my knees; I couldn't see a doctor and be only able to talk on the phone; he kept referring me to physio, but the physio said it was inflammatory, and the doctor just wrote it off. Eventually, I had an x-ray, which showed minimal wear and

Questions re: Mirena coil & surgery follow up! What check should be done?
She agreed to some onward referrals to pelvic
physiotherapy
and health psychology, which I’m grateful for. However the she did not carry out any physical or internal exam, and said I would get a 6-month telephone review.

Ankle injury
I'm having a time of my life. I'm camping at a quiet small town. I woke up early to run. I start along a beautiful creek, I see a hot air balloon going up in a distance, what a beautiful morning. I go under a road bridge, cross old swing bridge, go up to a look out point (almost) getting hot and sweaty
