Can I pick some brains please.
So still can't get GP to reinstate my 150mcg Levo repeat prescription, the one she lied about me agreeing to. I have a BH kit ready, will do it Monday and see what's what. As an aside, I feel really S**t at the moment, anxiety ridiculous, fatigue, poor sleep, not much interest in food, hair falling

Crtd - can I set the bpm limit myself?
Hi, I had my HA in August, recovery going well and I will soon speak with the specialist regarding a pacemaker / crtd on the NHS. But I have a question for anyone here who has had one implanted:I'm an active runner and plan / hope to be able to continue as much as I possibly can. I obviously don't want

Hi all, I have osteoporosis but no fractures. Consultant says my spine is not bad on my latest MRI. I'm 66. However, he wants me to take Risedronate 35mg starting from now. Worried as I am about potential future breaks, I really don't want to take it, mainly because of the possible side effects. I already

Quadratus Lumborem Pain
I am a 68 yr old male who has had lumbar pain for 20+ years now and before my last surgery (I've had 2) my MRI showed my lowest 5 discs are bad. Anyway, last fall I somehow hurt my quadratus lumborem muscle on my right side and the pain has been so debillitating it has rendered me unable to walk on

PMR or arthritis?
I was diagnosed with PMR a few years ago and have gone through the process of taking 15mg prednisolone and then reducing- now stuck at 6mg and have tried a few times to drop a bit without success. About three or four months ago I began to have a very tight lower back and this became sciatic pain for

How many people get their rehab in video format and is it on YouTube?
Hi, the last time I went for a reassessment of cervical and thoracic spine exercises I asked if they had a video of the exercises because it is easier to follow the instructions when you see it. Usually it comes on a sheet of A4 paper. Amazingly the physio said no problem and emailed me video instructions

Symptoms of PsA
Hello I wondered if anyone could share with me the symptoms of PsA? Although I have been told that I've probably had this for a while, the only sign, for years, was two slightly swollen toes which at times were a little sore. Well that's what I thought, until I started to realise that some foot pain

fibromyalgia MR refused 😡
Got my MR been refused ,so just filled out to take it to tribunal. I really don’t understand how they can justify how people are not awarded this help . My letter was dated the 4th March but only received it this morning 🙈.. so I filled in the tribunal on line . Since being refused I went to see a rheumatologist

Left hip / leg pain endo
I have just seen a thread of left hip / leg pain and I'm windering what it might be linked to. I get left hip / radiating sensation down my left leg with warm tingling feet. I can't say for sure if this is linked to my endo symptoms yet. I will be seeing my physio soon for some help. It gets worse at

Happy Resurrection Sunday (in advance) and Rahmadan! Does anyone else experience this?
The world of MS can make the most simplest things in life so “dog done” difficult it’s frustrating! A small treat like a manicure/pedicure can turn out to be disastrous!!!! First, I have to inform the person working on me not to punch on my legs; just because you’re advertising as a SPA technicians

No photo, no story tonight, but
Our trip to Toulouse for 6 month check up for my wife went well. Her spirometry test was better than 6 months ago, no doubt all due to the physio and exercise. Next appointment in 9 months time. We might complain about cost in France, but the service is very good. After a long wet winter, the results
