pregabalin and iron
Hello, I have tried googling if there is any interaction between pregabalin and iron but can’t find anything. I take an iron tablet due to low iron (morning and it has not helped) but will switch to iron bisglycinate at night after reading posts here. I stop eating at 6:30pm so I can take my pregabalin

My profile
Have GCA . My mother had it and two of my siblings have/had PMR- a genetic link. The steroids 55 mg to start now down to 40 mg rewiring my brain mainly positive. Not getting enough sleep however. At present a lot of mental discomfort with buzzing at the sides of my head /where I suspect the arteries

I have continued to make progress on my path to getting my dopamine receptors back to somewhere near normal. I last used a DA patch in September. I am using buprenorphine patches and pregabalin as RLS blockers to assist in the process. There is some improvement (perhaps 60%) in my sleep regime and in

Tirosint
I am unable to take tablet form levothyroxine, I have a gene issue with metabolising some medications. I have started liquid thyroxine but I think the ingredients are affecting my stomach and I have been told to stop taking this to see if it is the cause. I see that Tirosint is quite pure but not sure

Visit to Haematology Dept.
This morning I had a appointment to see the consultant haematologist at Scarborough Hospital, the first I have seen for about 3 years, the was because my total white blood count & Lymphocyte count had shot up from my April blood test, she examined me and took more blood, the results were a lot better

Some results, at last
I had some blood sent for Next Generation Sequencing back in March, I’ve been waiting for the results. Consultant phoned this afternoon, he says I am now post ET MF or words to that effect! My platelets are currently 559, I’m on one capsule of Anagrelide twice a day. I was extremely anaemic and after

Gut is now at metaplasia stage and it's irreversible. Need advice, friends.
Hello, It has been some time since I last wrote so I will refresh your memories a bit. In a nutshell, I was diagnosed with autoimmune atrophic gastritis two years ago which caused PA and b12 deficiency. I take 1000 mcg B12 cyanocobalamin once daily but sometimes twice if I'm feeling poorly at the end

PV & Gene Editing for Sickle cell anemia
Has anyone been following the latest news on treatment for sickle cell anemia? Since many of us are treated with hydroxyurea which is approved for sickle cell anemia, I was wondering if this may be in our future? High Folate, Low Normal B12
Regarding folate masking a B12 defciency…my folate was 24 ng/mL and my B12 was 252 pg/mL when I asked to be tested for deficiency in January.
