You need TSH, Ft4, Ft3, vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested

None of these seem to have been tested

Are you still taking Levothyroxine and T3

How much and which brands

Make sure you test early morning

Last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Day before test split T3 as 3 smaller doses spread through the day with last 1/3rd of daily dose 8-12 hours before test

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Licklemoose in reply toSlowDragon

These were done in maySerum ferritin level 111 ug/L [11.0 - 307.0]

SERUM B12 AND FOLATE

Serum vitamin B12 level 683 ng/L [180.0 - 915.0]

Serum folate level 5.0 ug/L [3.1 - 19.9]

SERUM FOLATE COMMENT Please note new reference range due to

restandardisation to World Health Organisation

(WHO)International Standard 03/178

Normal 4.0-19.9

Borderline 3.1-4.0

Low < 3.1

Serum TSH level 1.84 U/mL [0.38 - 5.33]

I'm on 150 thyroxine 20 t3

Looking at my results it seems sodium and potassium are low and reading on it I have all the symptons

I did request vit D be checked but it was refused

what vitamin supplements are you taking

Folate’s too low

Are you taking Daily vitamin B complex

Obviously you need to test TSH, Ft4 and FT3 together

Split T3 day before test 10mcg, 5mcg and 5mcg

Last 5mcg dose 8-12 hours before test

Do you normally split T3?

Could you list all prescription medications you're taking besides T4 and T3?

Are you taking a statin? If so:

"Statin drugs may falsely lower the serum TSH without altering thyroid function. The cause of this phenomenon is not known."

jnm.snmjournals.org/content...

Since doctors almost exclusively use the TSH level to determine thyroid hormone dosing, you're at an even bigger disadvantage if your TSH result is skewed lower.

Common side effects of statins:

headache.

dizziness.

feeling sick.

feeling unusually tired or physically weak.

digestive system problems, such as constipation, diarrhoea, indigestion or farting.

muscle pain.

sleep problems.

low blood platelet count.
