Endo fatigue - how to perk up?
Hi... What do you do to help perk up from the endo fatigue? I'm all tired out today, and it happens every single day. Gosh. I think this is fatigue. There must be something I can do to perk up again. I have stage IV endometriosis. I've healed from my diagnostic lap now (had it 5 weeks ago), awaiting

Feeling like it’s not been worth it
Hi, this isn’t a post to be negative as such but I’m just struggling and wondering if there is anything else I can do. I am 55 years old and over the last year (since the pandemic started) I have walked 4-5 miles a day and also been cycling for 4 months. I thought C25K would be another thing to add to

Alpha Lipoic Acid and anti-Coagulants
I am on Apixaban, Statins and blood pressure tablets. I suffer with thoracic back pain which when it flares is awful, a mixture of muscle and nerve pain. I am only able to take paracetamol which is useless in my case. I have also been advised by the G.P. and pharmacist that I should try Amitriptyline

Aches all over
I seem to ache all over, especially at night. I can hardly walk even using a frame. My back aches from one hip across to the other. My back hurts either side of my spine between my shoulders. I think it is muscular as it is worse when I move, although it hurts just lying in bed. I inject methotrexate

Anti inflammatories
Am I right in thinking I shouldn’t use anti inflammatories for pain relief as a ‘stomachless’ person? I remember a nurse telling me this after my surgery but is this long term advice? I need it for something unrelated (hip) and paracetamol isn’t really enough today. Thanks!

Please Advise...RA
Hi All, I'm quite new to this site, although I have posted once before and quite a few members were kind enough to respond. I really need some advice about my current health situation as I feel things have deteriorated so much and so quickly for me that I simply don't know what to do or where to turn

Muscle pain from ADT
Five months into ADT, severe muscle pain has emerged. Since I have not had any pain for decades except from bicycle falls, I assume the pain is cancer related. Since the area of pain has moved once, from just beneath my shoulder on the back side to my upper arm, both on the left side, I assume it

Abdominal Cramping - Help Please?
Morning ladies, I got up to go the bathroom this morning, feeling okay and then so suddenly, a wave of lower abdominal cramping hit me. It was so painful, that when brushing my teeth, I got really lightheaded and thought I was going to faint. My body also overheated so I had to strip off, put the fan

Update on fingers crossed
Well I saw the doc on Monday who prescribed 40mg of pred in case it’s GCA. Along with a couple of different drugs. Tuesday night the pain was unbearable so my wife took me to A&E where I was given liquid morphine, intravenous paracetamol and fee flow oxygen. That did ease the pain so off to home at 6am

Should I stop taking the Metavive ?
I had the worst night of nocturnal hypertension ever. I took 60 mg of propranolol that I had left over from when I was last in that position, & it took 2 hours to get my BP down to 145/83? only got about 3 hrs sleep - if that. It is now 139/83. I am scared to take any metavive in case my GD is back.
