On road to recovery
Hello, After almost 9 months I've been able to bring my post-prandial blood sugar level down to 124. By following LCHF diet as recommended here. Thankyou so much. My fasting though still remains high at 116. It was suggested to try ashwagandha at bedtime... I'm trying that now. Any more suggestions

Is LCHF Diet suitable for hypertension
Dear All greetings. I read about LCHF diet in this forum in previous posts that it is very good for diebitic patients. My question is if the person is having high blood pressure also along with diabetes then also is it good or not? Cos I read in another post that hypertension person should have low fat

Final update
I have been passed to
palliative
care
and am now in the local Hospice. I have an NGA tube in draining my stomach and am allowed small sips of water. I obviously can't eat. My family and I are devastated, this wasn't how it was supposed to end.

IT IS --Yes it is Insulin...
http://www.tuitnutrition.com/2015/09/its-the-insulin-1.html With the help of some very cool people in the low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) world, I have been introduced to a new concept—well, new to me, but certainly not “new” at all—and I’d like to share it with you. There’s a lot to talk about, but the overall

Looking for some advice for dealing with a terminally ill relative with IPF
Unless you work in this area, ordinary life in Western civilisations gives you little training for dealing with terminal/
palliative
care
and I have never been confronted with having to deal with someone who knows the end is near and certainly not a close member of the family.

Soya chunks and LCHF
Are dishes made of soya chunks a safe source of protein for someone trying to follow an LCHF diet? If so, what is the best brand of soya (least processed etc.) available in the Indian market? How much of this a day is adequate? How many carbs do they have? Thanks.

Giving up
What I can't find out is whether just lying back and waiting for the end is worse than treatment, or whether the
palliative
care
teams really can make sure you have a peaceful and pain-free death.

Current drugs like immunosuppressants only provide
palliative

by making symptoms easier to live with. These immunosuppressants often come with harmful side effects.
