On road to recovery

Hello, After almost 9 months I've been able to bring my post-prandial blood sugar level down to 124. By following LCHF diet as recommended here. Thankyou so much. My fasting though still remains high at 116. It was suggested to try ashwagandha at bedtime... I'm trying that now. Any more suggestions pl? I'm not taking any medicines for diabetes. Thanks..

The body needs minimum energy during sleep. Hence you should consume less food before 8:00 pm. If you fast 12 hours at night, the fasting blood sugar will be less.

WHO criteria: fasting plasma glucose level from 6.1 mmol/l (110 mg/dL) to 6.9 mmol/l (125 mg/dL).

ADA criteria: fasting plasma glucose level from 5.6 mmol/L (100 mg/dL) to 6.9 mmol/L (125 mg/dL).
