I am 74 years old diabetic & on lchf diet since 15 th March.Fasting is 108,PP is 117 & HbA1c is 5.50. But TC - 264,HDL - 59, LDL - 193 & TRIGLYCERIDES - 79. Can someone help me with some guidance ?

Please contact some Dietician , I was Diebetic Since 23 years my age now is 62, Last year I consulted Dietician Dr Ruchika Mahar in my city Jaipur India I followed her from April 2016 n within two months my Fastjing was 225 n PP 200+ it dropped to Fasting 90 -100 n P P 120 130,n all my medicine stoped even Insulin Act Rapid n Lantus now I am fine better Dr Ruchika you can contact on Whatts app XXXXXXX
All test normal just by controlling Diet Habbits strictly.

@30061943... it seems you have started LCHF since 15 the march... hence your BS levels are very good... to reduce lipids, continue with same diet,and lipids will come down... give a trial and see lipids after 3 months... kindly mention your current types of food intake,your BS/ lipid levels before you went on LCHF, that is before 15 the march,for the benefit of others.
4/5 cloves or even ayurvedic medicine like one Abana p.d.hardly has any impact on lipids. I say this after prolonged trial over 3/4 months. Whereas statins has exponential effect. After being on LCHF Diet I was continuing to take half tablet p. d. of statins for a month. My lipids were Tc - 178, Tg.- 77, HDL.- 59. & LDL - 101. despite 70% fat & mostly Sat. Only one month after stopping Statins my lipids boomeranged.Tc - 264,
Tg - 80, HDL - 59 & LDL - 193.
1. A.I use pocket electronic balance for weighing, purchsed for 3,500/- in sept.07.when I became diabetic. It is still very strong.
B. I do full day's weighings in the morning. Takes 14/15 min.after couple of weeks practice.
2. What is good for me may not be good for somebody else. With my LCHF diet 85% population have no problem with LIPIDS. But 10/15% population, like me, are unlucky due to heridity factors.
3. On getting up around 6:30 I take. 50 mcg Thyronorm.
Min. Half an hour later,10/11 gr. Of Dhoot Papeshwar Chavanpras SWAMALA.
4. B.F.at 9:30. One egg omlette + 20 gm. Cheese & one glass black coffee,with coffee only.
5. At 12:30 Lunch. Half the portion of vegetables.
6. At 5:00 p.m. eve.tiffin
20 grm. Almonds soaked in water after getting up in the morning. + 30 grm. roasted w/t salt peanuts + 10 grm. Medicated cow ghee.And of course black coffee.
7. At 8:30 Dinner.
200 grm. Plain cucumber sliced.+ half portion of lunchtime vegetables.+ 20 grm.Butter.
8. Before going to bed 20 grm. Cheese & 30 ml. Apple Cider Vinegar with 1 1/2 glass water(abs. necessary for teeth & gums.)
9. I don't take any medicine presently except 500 mg Mcneuron( vit. B ) & 50 mcg Thyronorm tab.
10. Oil used for cooking is 25 gm. Virgin coconut oil.
Sabji 1.
100 gm. Mushrooms + 125 gr. Tondlim or Navalkol + 100/125 gr. Tomato.
Sabji 2.
250 gr. Of following
Palak, Small Baigan, Flower, Cabbage,Big Baigan Bharit, Bpopala Dudhi.
Sunday only, instead of Sabji 2. I eat half Tandoori Chicken from hotel.
One thing I forgot. Everyday before Lunch I eat 10 gr. of powdered Flaxseed soaked in warm water glass for 1/2 hr.
Exercise
9,000/10,000 steps in the course of the day as per Pedometer application downloaded from mobile.
Hope this would be useful atleast for few.
Regarding Lab. Reports before and after LCHF Diet I wd post tomorrow or so.

One very important thing I fogot to add. I certainly need concession for my age. I consume 100 gr.of raw coconut.
75 grm.in the shredded form with the two sabjis along with reglar spices and 25 grm pieces to be eaten during tiffin time.
