Leg Pain
Hi everyone, just a question with regards to pain that my old man is feeling at the moment. It started round about the time he started radiotherapy on his Prostate. They decided to do an MRI and although this chucked up a couple more lesions than what was already known, he was cleared for spinal compression

Sometimes spelling it out gets a response with Rheumatology!
Hello, Well , we are all guilty of getting on with things, when confronted with the wall of trying to get referrals to our own doctors, bloods let alone see Rheumatology! I’ve all but forgotten where my clinic was moved too but out of the blue! I received an email from Rheumatology asking if I could

Broken Shoulder - update
Firstly I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who responded with tea, sympathy and tips when I first posted about breaking my shoulder. It really was so kind of everyone to take the time to add something and lovely to see so many names I’ve not seen before. I’m going for my first physio tomorrow

Severe arm pain after Prostap3
Hello, I had the Prostap3 injection last Wednesday and my arm is so tender and I feel like a bit flu-like. I've spoken to a nurse at the hospital who's advised me to take painkillers, and said if it's not hot and red at the injection site, there's probably no need to be concerned. I had the ProstapSr

Medial branch
Hi, For many years I have suffered with spinal stenosis and tried various pain killers and anti-inflammatory with not much success and I have eventually secured an appointment with pain management to discuss my suitability for a medial branch block. Has anyone else had any experience of this?

Age 30 Frenuloplasty then circumcision few years later
Post circumcision! So I thought I would share my bit. I had a tight foreskin always, I could retract to a certain extent but never fully originally when erect. It was ok when flacid but not the same as a non tight foreskin. When I was 24 or 25 cannae remember and had a regular girlfriend for the first

More and more nauseous (crying face)
Hi all... quick question, I've noticed I'm becoming more and more nauseous running up to my endo flare. Really struggling today sat at my desk trying to concentrate on my computer screen...and although I could do with having a lay down,I can't. Has anyone tried the motion sickness patches at all?

Got my 1st Esophageal Banding treatment soon, do you think Strepsils/otc throat sprays will help after??
Hi ya, thanks for all the advice the other day regarding what I should eat after banding. I've now filled my fridge and freezer with bright and fresh, soft and bland foods. I'm sitting here worried sick and am wondering if I should order like Strepsils, Numbing Throat Sprays, lozenges, certain teas anything

Hip pain
My hip pain is awful. I have bought a heat mat and wrap it on my hips and it helps enough to get to sleep. I have had to get one with a timer so it shuts off. I also take painkillers- i didnt think about a topical painkiller though - good shout i will try that too

Boils, Carbuncles and Abscesses
It has been such a long time since I have been in this space or written anything. I had a really nasty flare and and continuous colds that I thought it would never end. Since last year April I have had reoccurring boils and carbuncles. Due to Covid-19 I have not seen a GP because they would not allow
