Pleurisy

Hi all,was diagnosed with pleurisy this morning.I've had it once before. Different side.

Dr prescribed antibiotics, taking painkillers x3 a day.

Hoping this will go away quickly! Can't even laugh coz that hurts,and I love laughing 😆

Yes hopefully it will pass quickly, but most of the time it will take ages to completely disappear, that's my experience. Take care and keep the place warm. ☺️🌺🌺😊

After eating I get the feeling of a huge air Bubble stuck. Super painful. I have to take a drink of soda to get rid of it. It’s happening more often.

Hi, what was your symptoms please? I am going to phone my doctor tomorrow but I’ve been having pains around my rib area when I breathe in deeply or when I cough and sneeze etc. Pain also is in my chest and goes to my shoulders at times too. I cannot yawn etc as it’s too sore. I googled of course and it’s all pointing to pleurisy. Thank you x

Hi Sharon ,The main symptom was pain when breathing in,was also very uncomfortable. A little cough. And then the strange clicking started the same morning when I called the doctors. Because I had had pleurisy before,I knew it must be it then.Same symptoms.
