Question about Oxycodone-Acetaminophen 5-325.
Disclosure: I am going to call my doc in the morning, and I know it's dumb to ask people about pain medicine online. Here's the question. How long does it take it to kick in? Does it work like an Asprin? Or do I need to take it a few times to get into my system? I wanted to get some ahead of time

Confused about chocolate cyst
Hi- I’m new :-) After a referral for an ultrasound for heavy periods it was discovered I have a 5cm chocolate cyst on my left ovary. The gynae also says I have endometriosis which they told my husband at my c section 11 years ago but was never followed up. I can’t say I have horrendous pain. Occasionally

5th day after circumcision surgery - Random sharp pain in penile shaft and area
I've reduced the
pain
killer
dosage as the
pain
has more or less subsided. However, I get these random sharp pains through penile shaft and area. These pains last for about 3 to 4 seconds and then go away. Is it just post surgery reaction and part of the recovery process?

Pain medication
I'm taking Duloxetine 120mg as struggling with depression. Was on Ibuprofen for pain but didn't think it worked until I started Naproxen. It's now like I may as well be taking nothing. The pain is worse, everywhere plus I am so exhausted I struggle to move. I eventually get out of bed when I need

The Value of a Good Compounding Pharmacist, a True Story
Although I generally write about supplements, sometimes supplements are simply not enough and prescription meds can be beneficial in different forms that doctors and patients are sometimes not aware of. To ignore that fact is folly on the patient's part in my opinion. I am writing this true story to

Quest Target achieved, 10k of continuous running.
We had near perfect conditions for our run this evening, nice temperature, dry underfoot, no rain and very little wind. Katnap and TailChaser lead me out of town down the greenway (which was surprisingly free of bicycles, small children, pushchairs and dogs). I have run down there before but tonight

Fed Up Of Being In Pain
Morning. I just need to offload here, sorry!! I have degeneration of lower discs in my back, and it causes pain, every single second of every single day, despite pain killers. I live with it, because I have to. But, I'm also waiting to have my gallbladder removed. Was hospitalised at September due to

Lesson learnt - don't ignore that hip pain!
I mentioned in a chat two weeks ago that I suddenly experienced a new pain in my hip following a run that continued to niggle and didn't just go away. I carried on walking as normal, and uploaded my walks to the COGH relay. However, I was really missing my runs, so two days ago I went for a test run

All my tests come back negative
Spent a day with the NHS today, to explore possible appendicitis, after the antibiotics didn't help what doc thought was a UTI. Inflammatory Markers - normal. In fact, my blood is great, apparently! CT scan of my pelvis shows all healthy and normal. Necrobiosis Lipoidica not a common complaint, so

Curable health app - has anyone tried?
Has anyone tried the Curable health app to help with pain management? The worse my endometriosis pain is, the more other pains I feel in my body, I’m on a high alert; I’m aware that some pain is triggered by my conditions and some is psychosomatic but I don’t know which ones are the latter as so much

Problems after the COVID vaccine
I want to say, firstly I am not an anti vaccination person. However, I have had my two AstraZeneca vaccines and the first one gave me terrible headaches and my muscles ached like mad. I was reluctant when offered the second, but I weighed everything up and went for the second. I was walking home,

Metronidazole
I am given
pain
killer
codein along with it . After having first dose of metronidazole I felt a bit better and reduced pain . And for the first time I didn’t see blood in my diarrhoea . My question is that do I still have to worry that I might have colon cancer ?

Scan update
Hello everyone I have been meaning to post - Ryan got a PET scan on April 9th; and it shows his disease is stable. We have had a lot of bumps per usual the last couple months. His small intestine was so swollen it looked like his LARGE intestine on a CT scan. So he has been trying to dial in how to not
