Help info needed piriformis syndrome
I have just been diagnosed with sciatica or its called piriformis syndrome. I don't have pain it's more irritable but taking painkillers. On Monday I've started a new run rotue as I want to start upping my distance. At 4ks in I had to walk because of the toothache pain in buttocks. I know I'm much better

Acoustic neuroma? Has anybody Had pain or hot feeling in ear
I’ve had popping ears and slight congestion and on and off for 13 weeks. Also tinnitus not ringing but quiet engine sound. I never wake up with it but usually as day goes on it gets worse . A little vertigo couple of time. Was told possibly Eustachian tube dysfunction and fluid and referred to ENT.

Thyroid and Tinnitus
Hello, I've just been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and have seen on Thyroid UK's signs and symptoms check list, under Hearing Problems, Tinnitus that I've suffered with for 2 years. I would like to know why it's on the check list? I believe my thyroid probably started playing up around the same time

Employment and Acoustic Neuroma
My wife had her AN diagnosed about a year ago. Prior to diagnosis, she was already experiencing tinnitus, hearing loss and vertigo. Whilst the tumour has not changed in the 12 months, the ability for my wife to maintain her current job and well-being has really been impacted. The symptoms have worsened

Anyone tried Nebivolol(beta blocker) for Migraine?
I have chronic vestibular migraine (my worst symptom is the 24/7 rocking dizziness and no headache at all) My doctor said propanolol beta blockers do usually help with migraines. Nebivolol is not a propanolol type as I’ve heard. But it has less side effects and doesn’t lower blood pressure as much as

Synarel anyone?
Hi, I have just been prescribed Synarel nasal spray to gear me up for implantation. Has anyone got experience with it? I have just taken my first dose and it’s run down the back of my throat leaving a taste so bad I had to drink water in an effort to wash it down. I feel like I must have done it wrong

Lyrica, RLS and tinnitus
Hello all, I have RLS and tinnitus, and I’m wondering if anyone else shares these two diagnoses with me. I thought I had a great solution in Lyrica and felt great for about two weeks. I slept multiple days in a row for the first time in 20 years. But the Lyrica caused an increased pressure in my head

Vestibular Migraine & Tinnitus
Very long story short, finally had a diagnosis of vestibular migraine. I suffer migraine aura's (visual disturbance and vertigo) and photophobia but do not get the crushing headache. For a long time I've been telling every doctor I've seen that the tinnitus also gets worse when I suffer a migraine but

'SUDDEN DEAFNESS' - TREAT WITH CORTICOSTEROIDS OR RISK A RAPID LOSS OF HEARING !!
Hi All Because of the similarity of needing rapid treatment like with GCA I thought some forum members would find this interesting ... [An extract from a radio programme cited below]: [i]'Sudden deafness is a rare condition where your hearing — usually in one ear, sometimes in both — disappears overnight

Hydroxychloroquine
I’m getting constant tinnitus, high pitched whistles, a tic, tic sensation as well as other strange noises, my hearing feels down too but worst of all is that I feel very dizzy and lightheaded. I’ve had a lot of headaches too and feel a bit sick but not all the time. The dizziness and tinnitus are there

CLL and Hearing loss
I am 65 yo male. W&W. First diagnosed in Jan 2019. My hearing loss has accelerated in the past year and I don't think it's just because I'm getting older. I've done two hearing tests in the past 6 months. The most recent suggested a "catastrophic" loss of hearing in my right ear for no apparent reason

Dry eye from Lercanidipine
I have been on Lercanidipine 20mg for just over 2 months now and seem to have tolerated it well enough. Have had sever reactions to several other blood pressure meds in the past. I have had chronic dry eye symptoms the last couple of weeks out of nowhere. Despite buying & using several ocular drops
