Gross picture and not the best I know but I feel like I need answers and waiting for my phone appointment with the doctor on Wednesday is not helping. I posted on here a few days ago about problems with my throat but I thought maybe I might get some more answers with a picture. From what I can see

On 5mg a day for ten days now, how long before the side effects start to go away? I take mine at about eight every morning but the side effects seem worse in the afternoon for some reason... dizziness when standing, fatigue and not being able to do much exercise etc.

Tinnitus from Optimize spray?
Hiya, I've had a persistent ear infection for months and the Dr prescribed me Promise spray. My ear was annoying and irritated but I didn't really have tinnitus, however as soon as I started using the Otomize I started hearing a really noticeable hissing/white noise. I didn't think too much of it as

Parallels
If I look daily at the sorry saga of dealing with coronavirus in the UK (protective gear, tests [lack of], dilatory responses to viral progress earlier I'm struck by the similarity of responses to the virus and to smaller but important issues like considering thyroid therapy change. The Times reported

OT
Hi all, I had my assessment for the OT a few weeks back. Last week they delivered me a perching stool and trolley. (Must say the new aids make me feel like an 80 year old . Won’t tell you what my brother thought 😂) I’m having difficulties with my knife and fork recently. The OT said they can’t provide

Newspaper deliveries
Many of the elderly people who live in my village are having newspapers delivered by the village shop. They think that it's safe because the delivery man wears gloves. How daft are people? The delivery man comes into contact with many people every day so he will certainly get covid soon. He will be contagious

Running and ear dousing seems to help a constant hum in my right ear but...
Hi Everyone, First forum I’ve ever used and I hope everyone is staying safe during the virus. In the meantime, I’ve had a ringing in my ear for almost 3 weeks now; it’s driving me a bit insane and waking me up most nights. I wanted to explain my symptoms and how they came on to see if anyone can

Good ol days. Can you relate?
I am the oldest of 5.. Eating out at a restaurant was a huge deal that only happened for very special occasions . We didn’t have fast food on every corner. Fast food was a cheese or pb&j sandwich to take outside in the yard. Eating ice cream was a treat on a hot day. You took your school clothes off

Should I go into the pharmacy myself?
My husband ordered medication for both of us last week. Our daughter in law went into fetch it today. His won't be ready until tomorrow and they have no trace of mine. They told my DIL that I should ring the surgery. The are not taking calls. The pharmacy is constantly engaged. Would it be dangerous

Surgery postponed
I recently got diagnosed with a large acoustic neuroma of 2x2.7 cm. I spoke to my consultant yesterday via the phone and she said surgery is the next step. The only problem is because of the Coronavirus it won’t be till we’ll over 6 months. I’m on the waiting list but it’s all very scary. I am 33 with

My left ear is whooshing with my heartbeat
Hi all ~ Well, 3 weeks ago I started experiencing "Pulsatile Tinnitus" (which is *not* tinnitus, but rather a whoosh that thumps in rhythm with your pulse). I haven't seen a doctor yet -- because corona -- & it's difficult to find much helpful info on this condition. As you can imagine, with body-focused

So, I have my first post op check for ankle replacement tomorrow and I was all set, with my niece, who is a nurse at the general hospital, giving me a lift in. However, she had just informed me that her colleague who she was with all day, the colleagues husband is showing symptoms, which effectively

Not mine
One of my sweet friends shared this yesterday and I haven’t been able to quit thinking about it. So important to focus on the good in order to keep a healthy mind. I did not write this but felt compelled to share: Lockdown Yes, there is fear. Yes, there is isolation. Yes, there is panic buying.

Pcd link with dextrocardia situs inversus
Hi, my wife and I are expecting our first child and unfortunately she has been diagnosed with dextrocardia situs inversus. Fortunately her heart structure has been looked at today and it is completely healthy and normal! They did mention that there is a link with this condition and PCD. My question
