Day8 stims only 3 follicles
Hi I had my baseline scan which showed AFC 12… then my day 6 scan showed 8 follicles brewing and now day 8 scan only showed 3 and the test all the rest still small. Nurse said they may trigger early as don’t want to loose the 3. I’m 43.8 amh 14.7… doing low dose gonal-f due to oestrogen cancers in family

Stick with mirena or have it removed?
Hi I have a gynae appointment coming up and I’m not sure whether to ask for the mirena to be removed or give it more time… I’ve had it for nearly 9 months now and it’s changed my pain pattern rather than being around periods I am experiencing pain throughout the month, about 20 days a month of pain

Starting oestrogen patches and progesterone
Hi all, grateful for any pointers pls I’m on day one of HRT - oestrogen patches and will take progesterone half way through my cycle. Is it ok do you think to start patches on day 22 of my cycle? The pharmacist said it was fine to start with patches and leave the progesterone til my first full cycle

Any downside for Apigenin?
Any downside for Apigenin? studies looked promising for Parkinson's. Dr Huberman likes it for his sleep stack (with L-theonine & mag). It's discussed a lot on the urology forum, with varying effects on testosterone and estrogen, depending on what I read....Thanks!

I had a period on this. The clinic has scanned me yesterday (thin lining, quiet ovaries) and asked to start taking oestrogen while continuing buserillin for the next 8 days. Is this what

Functional medicine advice is going in circles
I had a brief introductory telephone consult with a functional medicine doctor today. It was very brief, 10 mins, in which I outlined my symptoms and the results of thyroid and cortisol tests. The doctor said we can definitely help you, but she seemed distracted, unable to provide a date or the necessary

Transdermal estrogen and BRCA+
With BRCA2+ and on high-dose transdermal estrogen, I happened to see a reply by Richard Wassersug hidden in a thread a long time ago, about the possible danger of t2E causing accelerated prostate cancer growth for those with BRCA+ disease. I recently contacted him and he told me that he feels that this

New to FET
Hi all, I will hopefully be going for my first FET after my first round of IVF failed in September. We have 2 x grade 2 embryos frozen. I’ve been told I will need to take oestrogen tablets 3 times a day for 11-12 days then scan and hopefully then transfer 5 days later. Then start pessaries, this time

Taking Progynova after egg collection?
Hello lovely ladies I'm about to start my second fresh cycle in about 3 weeks and I've just received my prescription from the clinic. I'm a bit confused though because they've prescribed me oestradiol valerate (Progynova) to take along with my progesterone pessaries after egg collection. Has anyone else

Allergic reaction
Hello sisters, Was wondering if anyone ever had an allergic reaction to exemastane (Aromasin). Or any other estrogen blocker. The under part of my chin and neck looks like I have acne and it’s crazy itchy. Thanks Anna 💗

Sharp twisting pain in side
I get this from time to time on my right side, right between the bottom of my ribs and the top of my hip. It’s really sore, feels like something is twisting tight. I’ve noticed it correlates with when I don’t use my progesterone cream - a few weeks of constant use and it disappears. I’ve been scanned

Why do you need cholesterol?
This was copied from an email I got so don’t go shooting the messenger if you don’t agree :). “I have been trying for years, decades actually, to raise my cholesterol. Finally after a more significant (call it strict if you like) change in diet, it’s happening and that’s a good thing. You see, low cholesterol

Covid during FET meds
Hi team, so... despite a Day 2 PCR test coming back negative on Saturday after a much needed holiday, I took a lateral flow test for work this morning and it's positive. I'm also on day 7 of estrogen patches and tablets, etc. for my upcoming FET. I expect the answer is that this cycle will be cancelled
