Taking Progynova after egg collection?

Hello lovely ladies

I'm about to start my second fresh cycle in about 3 weeks and I've just received my prescription from the clinic. I'm a bit confused though because they've prescribed me oestradiol valerate (Progynova) to take along with my progesterone pessaries after egg collection.

Has anyone else ever been prescribed Progynova for a (short protocol) fresh cycle? I know it's used during FETs and DE cycles but I can't find anything on the internet about taking it on a fresh cycle with OE. I don't have a history of low estrogen or thin lining so just curious if any of you wise women know the reasoning behind it.

Ask your clinic/doctor to explain why you have been given it - they should be able to tell you Maybe to ensure the thickness of the lining of your womb
