So far, so good!
Hi all! I haven’t written in a while. After my surgery and following chemo I was put on Arimidex because my tumor tested estrogen positive. I’ve had very few side effects from it. I just had my first 3 month check up and my cancer marker is 11. That made me mighty happy to hear that! Hopefully things

Progesterone ! Can any one help me please ?
I have been using Progesterone cream (Elan Organics ) ,for 4 weeks now and have just started to have the few days break that's required, before starting the cream again for another month. However, I have had Oestrogen Dominance symptoms, during the past month, in particular, inclined to be tearful

Bilateral and salpingo-oophorectomy booked for Monday
Hello everyone, I'm new here, and grateful for any support or suggestions. I posted this also on the MyOvacome group but possibly the post is more appropriate here. I went into A&E about 6 weeks ago with what I understood to be classic kidney stone pain. To cut a long story short they found a suspicious

Suspicious ovarian cyst: Bilateral and salpingo-oophorectomy booked for Monday
Hello everyone, I'm new here, and grateful for any support or suggestions. I went into A&E about 6 weeks ago with what I understood to be classic kidney stone pain. To cut a long story short they found a suspicious 5 cm cyst on my right ovary (and polyps on gallbladder). The ultrasound report is as follows

FET probably a yes finally!
Scan today (Cd7 for natural FET) was ok with a whopping 17mm lead follicle, lining only 5.5 but we don’t think I’ll ovulate for a few days still so lining should go over the 7 mark. Waiting for bloods - he insisted on repeating TSH, and did LH, estrogen and progesterone, but also did prolactin since

Estradiol (estrogen) & Selenium.
New study below [1]. Elizabeth Platz [Johns Hopkins] has been involved in many interesting (to me) PCa studies over the past 3 decades. Including this one. It is an estradiol-selenium study using NHANES III data (National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey), but the context is the possible link

Inflammation and Fibrins role in PCa
This is repost as I would appreciate any info on. I would like to say that after a couple months on EDTA (bulk supplements on Amazon powder I mix in husbands morning V8) his blood pressure and cholesterol dropped dramatically. His Doc was shocked. Yes antidotal. Maybe it’s something else but... Anyway

New Member - No Doctor - Help Understanding Tests
Greetings everyone! I am a new member. You recently assisted me regarding my beloved mother in my post about Congestive Heart Failure (thanks so much). I take care of her and my 91 year old father (they are married 69.5 years!). I have them in their own home being together! I would appreciate your interpretation

UPDATE ON MY DAY 9 SCAN YESTERDAY
My day 9 scan didn’t go as planned, therefore have been called back on day 11. The follicles not quite there yet. 🤞they better tomorrow & have more of an insight into these. My scan they said can see follicles developing can’t remember whether said 7 or 9, as was upset & phased out when he mentioned

Clearing a cyst - OK to take dhea?
Ladt cycle I disappointingly had a cyst in one ovary with high oestrogen, so my clinic chose to cancel the cycle. My following period oestrogen was even higher. They've advised me to wait it out, it should clear by itself in a month or so. I've seen a herbalist for lots of natural liver cleanse things

Hashimotos and HRT advice wanted.
Hi, I would love some advice on Hashimotos & Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). I’ve got Hashimotos and take my 100mcg levothyroxine when I go to bed, it suits me by far to take it at night. I’m post-menopausal but for a number of reasons am just starting HRT. The oestrogen will be through a patch

Fld, strange symptoms. Like info.
To be honest, I quit drinking by God's grace in 2000. But I picked up a fairly hardcore Vicodin habit. Than after quitting that, gained weight. I'm an old punk rocker lady and regret these choices. My symptoms started w vague stomachaches that I attributed to age. But I got an upper and lower, it was

I apologize if this is more info than you need/want....This is an attempt to provide you with a brief outline of Rob's PC history, so that you might give me your advice as to his present situation....I felt we needed a second opinion...and I could not think of any better place to go. 12/2011 ~ PC diagnosed

Surgical menopause symptoms
I started on HRT (
oestrogel
) immediately after the oophorectomy and had no menopausal symptoms other than slight insomnia which went away when my consultant suggested an extra pump of
oestrogel
before going to bed.

SST test for low cortisol whilst on TRANSDERMAL HRT/oestrogen gel (i.e. not oral hrt)
I believe that taking oral oestrogen interferes with serum cortisol levels (I think it increases it) due to increasing cortisol binding globulin. (I know that for SHBG, transdermal doesn't affect it but oral does) I have been taking transdermal oestrogen gel - I believe that this may not have the same
