Diethylstilbestrol when faced with "economic constraint".
New study below [1]. We see so many posts on Zytiga, Xtandi & even more expensive drugs. This study is from Lahore, Pakistan & reports on DES [Diethylstilbestrol] use in CRPC cases. "All patients were treated with DES (2.5 mg) initially, but the dose was increased for some patients to 5 mg in combination

Prostap pain
I had the prostap injection 3weeks ago tomorrow and have asked advice earlier as I was suffering immensely from the side effects but the hrt has kicked in and these have subsided a little. However the pain in my pelvis and back is beyond imaginable and I'm not sure if this is normal as I know it makes

5α-androstane-3β,17β-diol?
Anyone have any experience/knowledge on this little know testosterone metabolite? I'm very interested in Testosterone therapies these days as I slowly shrivel up from ADT Supposedly this Testosterone variant is anti-carcinogenic, stimulates estrogen receptor beta, and more. Sounds very interesting but

Hi hoping for any advice? My nurse today said I could try hrt patches as I do had hysterectomy with ovaries that are left and playing up. Originally my consultant said I couldn’t have hrt. Blood tests
Hello, are there any blood tests Endometreosis sufferers should have particularly to see if we have to much oestrogen In our bodies and to check liver function. I went to my doctor after being diagnosed with chocolate cysts, for a blood test to check everything and I was told I would have to pay!

Ellest Solo to Premarin
Hi, I've been on Ellest Solo for about 6 years now following TAH BSO and never stopped suffering from stiffness and aches feeling like 100 instead of 51. Just had full works blood test results back and all ok so Dr put me on the subjugated oestrogens from female horses- better known as Premarin.

Thyroxine and fluctuating hormones
Hi Just wondering if there’s any research on naturally produced female hormones and thyroid hormones? For example, I know that taking extra oestrogen can mean you need extra thyroxine. I currently have no periods as I’m breastfeeding a 1 year old; they didn’t return for 2 years last time. But I

Mistake with Progynova dose... help!
Had a positive test post FET last week and have just reread my paperwork which says I should have increased my Progynova from 3 x day to 4 x day ..... a bit annoyed that the clinic didn’t stress this when I notified of my positive test. However I feel fine - positive testing still, no spotting. I know

Think I am being set up by Dr's.
I don't know if I should be posting this rant under thyroid UK, thoughI have done before. All I know is that following advice from Thyroid UK, and after sourcing T3 and metavive, iron, vitamins, and supplements - I am so much better, and no longer have the symptoms of CFS, although I am extremely depressed

Gaining weight on Levo
Hey everyone, first time posting: First a little backstory: Diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2002 at age 25, put on Levothyroxine and settled on 75mg/6 days a week. Was on this dosage for the years following. In August 2017 my endo told me that my hypo is autoimmune based so I started googling and found

Lining has right pattern but won’t thicken. Anyone else had this?
Hi I’m attempting my second frozen transfer. Lining started well at baseline scan but had not progressed beyond 6.9mm at second scan a week later so the clinic upped my Progynova dose from 8mg to 10mg daily. Just had my third scan after 3 days of the higher Progynova dose, and my lining has the right
