Prednisone & testogel as part of IVF protocol
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has expirience with prednisone (steriods) and testogel included as part of the IVF protocol. I am due to start my next cycle soon and my protocol has changed to the following: - Estrogen priming and testogel from day 15 to day 1 of cycle - Start stimming day 1

6dp5dt
Hi everyone, I am new here for IVF. I’ve been undergoing IVF since August and have just had my first FET. Had to have a break over Xmas because of risk of OHSS. I just wanted to know if anyone here had a slight bleed on 4dp5dt and 5dp5dt? It was pinky brown and only a small bit when I wiped twice and

Day 7 scan. Sizes of follicles
Hi ladies. I had my day 7 scan today. I have 5 follicles. 2 at 14, 2 at 16 and one at 17. I’m on 225 menopur. Lining is good apparently and bloods showed oestrogen at 3200. They have me in tomorrow for another scan. Is it likely that all 5 will be big enough for collection? Or will the ones at 14 still

Started taking cyclogest too early
In the process of FET and had an appointment yesterday. Good news was that the lining is thick enough (10.5mm) and we were told to stop taking Buserelin injections and the clinic would call later that day about the next round of drugs. We hadn't heard from clinic yesterday so started taking Progesterone

Northeristone mini pill
Hi Ladies, Is anyone using Northeristone mini pill for PCOS? Is it effective? Does it make hair growth worse? I have had facial hair lasered in the past - I'm worried it might grow back again! (I have recently come off combined pill because I can't take Oestrogen no more due to high blood pressure).

Prostap long term use
I’ve been on this for three years on and off. I have the three monthly injections. I now have a lot of bone issues. When you take pro stap it stops the oestrogen and it’s the stopping of the oestrogen that causes a lot of the bone issues not the actual injection itself. Although the injection stops oestrogen

Please help, very new to all this
Hello, I’m very new to all of this and looking for some advice if possible. I’m 28 years old and up until I came off the pill a few months ago I have never suffered with my periods. Last year I was told that I had cervical erosion and needed treatment for this, I had the cells frozen away and was advised

Hello Well after that dramatic will they/won’t they egg collection last week. I got 13 eggs however as I was warned, due to my drop in oestrogen, only 6 were mature and three fertilised normally. During my egg collection and my lining was only measuring at 6mm so I came back in on the Thursday to

Immature follicle help!
So my egg collection is due in 4 days and two days ago my scan showed my follicles haven’t matured much further - the biggest two are only 13 and 14mm. They need to be 18mm + as you guys prob know, and I’m worrying they have hit a block and won’t grow anymore on the same dose of menopur. My estrogen

Periods are lighter after ivf cycles so should I do natural FET instead of medicated ?
Hi I'm due to have a FET soon. My clinic says there's no difference in success between medicated and natural fets. I've had a medicated (negative result) due to irregular cycles. But my cycle is more regular now. I'm thinking about trying a more natural cycle - main reason I was thinking of this is

FET and cervical screening (Smear Test ) advice
I am currently in the middle of a 3 month HRT protocol before my final FET. Basically due to thin lining i am primed with additional oestrogen for 2 cycles and then scanned on the 3rd month and if lining is good then we go ahead. However I today received a letter for my smear due in March.. I am currently

Prolapse after decapeptyl?
Has anyone suffered a prolapse after taking decapeptyl? I’ve had two 3 month injections as my cervix and top of vagina hadn’t healed after ablation in April 2019. Diagnosed stage 3 endometriosis. I have read the lack of oestrogen affects your structure which can result in a prolapse. Mines is internally

After all the uncertainty I got some eggs
Well ladies it hasn’t been a straight forward journey, there was even a fire alarm and we had to get evacuated at the hospital this morning 🙈 as if this cycle hasn’t been dramatic enough . They got 13 eggs I don’t know if they are mature or not yet, I guess I’ll find out tomorrow when the embryologist
