First FET cycle this month
Hi, I have just started a FET cycle this month to try for a second baby after successful IVF to conceive my son in 2019. I am on day 3 of oestrogen tablets and have a scan booked on 3rd November. It would be good to hear from anyone at a similar point with FET? How are you feeling? Thanks! JF

Grateful beyond words
I just wanted to thank everyone here who has advised or supported me so far on this journey. I saw a GP from the ThyroidUK list today and have been prescribed Levo along with extra vitamins and iron. She also recommended an ultrasound scan of my thyroid and getting my oestrogen level checked. I’m still

IVF ladies - when did you stop progesterone and estrogen?
Hi everyone. For any IVF ladies, I wondered when you stopped progesterone and estrogen. Did you stop cold turkey or did you gradually wean off? I had a frozen transfer and am now 9 + 4. My clinic have supplied enough meds for me to continue until 12 weeks for my own peace of mind although their standard

Good morning. Looking for some advice. I have estrogen positive stage 4 metastatic breast cancer with Mets to bones and liver diagnosed 6/2/20. I’m sure I had this six months earlier but could not get a Dr appointment except tele health bc of Covid. When finally diagnosed my bones were so brittle

Hi This post is on behalf of my 21 year old daughter who had had a bit of a fright. Her nipple is discharging white creamy fluid and she feels a movable lump. She has never had intercourse or been on any contraception, she doesn't currently take any medication. She suffers reynauds and has heavy blood

Effect of IVF hormonal treatment (oestrogen and progesterone) on endo and fibroids
I'm new to this group - I have endo (diagnosed 10 months ago), and went through IVF this year, with a couple of bits of surgery along the way to remove fibroids in my womb. Happily, the IVF worked and I'm nearly 8 weeks pregnant but I have to continue taking daily oestrogen and progesterone until 12

Progestogen sensitivity / intolerance?
Hi everyone. It's barely into week 3 on combined oestrogen patch and progestogen pessaries. I have such severe physical and mental symptoms that I have stopped all treatment suddenly. This happened before when I tried HRT about a year ago but it took some months for these side effects to kick in. After

What causes these adrenaline surges?
I've been struggling for a few years now with what seems like low thyroid symptoms, I've worked on vits and iron and have them at a decent level. I've stopped taking HRT as the oestrogen gives me hypothyroid symptoms and the progesterone, whilst initially helping eventually makes me really tired and

Post op self injecting.
In the space of a month I've had an estrogen receptive breast cancer diagnosis, was operated on last Friday, didn't lose my breast, but I'm reeling with it all. I have been tired since the op but today I have crashed, my tinnitus is screeching, my balance is all to pot, I feel as sick as a dog and my

FDA approved drugs - is estrogen added, yet?
A blessing and curse of prostate cancer is it is often slow moving. The blessing and curse of the US FDA is it is always slow moving. What I can find on the status of transdermal estrogen for prostate cancer is it has not been approved (yet). If there is a newer FDA approved drugs list please let

Overwhelmed & tearful
Hello everyone, just reaching out for support. September was a rollercoaster for me. On the 2nd I was called for a follow-up mammogram + ultrasound which picked up a small lesion in my right breast...a biopsy was done the same day, a week later the result was an invasive ductal cancer. Things moved

MRI CT accuracy results confused
Hi there. I’ve just come out the other side of one of the scariest couple of weeks of my life. I went to a private gynaecologist a few months ago who as well as thinking I probs had endo, wanted me to have an urgent mri scan because my oestrogen levels are very high indeed. I eventually had the scan

Update on recent consult with MSK docs , comments , suggestions welcome
In my recent consult with doctors at MSK in NY the doctors said they may still be able to “cure” my PCa . They said I will probably need radiation and 18 months of ADT plus Xytiga.I recently had a clean bone scan and a PSMA- PET showing no mets .It did show SVI but I’m still not sure if it is extra-
