Pain in shoulder
I've been taking
Nurofen
but so far they haven't worked, I'm at the end of my tether and wonder if I should go to see my GP

I've not taken any except
Nurofen
this week and I've lost 2.5kg since last Thursday. Rock on, my theory stands.

Hi all
I was diagnosed with Asthma back in 2001 after taking 2
nurofen
for cold and flu and had an asthma attack ( never had one before ). I was in hospital for 3 days. My asthma has always been under control.

Migraine Summit Notes - lots of great advice
- If you take NSAIDS (like aspirin,
Nurofen
over the counter drugs) after 10 days in a row, that can increase your headaches. - Meds should be taken no more than 2 or 3 times a week/8 or 9 times a month. If over 15 days, you are at higher risk.

Now the issue I have had is I recently took
nurofen
ibuprofen and got some serious negetive affects. I have now got chronic anal fissure from this and also diharrea. Are there any natural treatments for this that can help me at home.

Methotrexate and painkillers
I have some
nurofen
in the cupboard which I can take just 1 tablet as a one off without reacting or I have 5mg diazepam tablets both of which will work to take the edge off but not sure if it's safe to take either.

Pain patches and pain medication
I am on pain patches 20mg 8 Dihydrocodeine and 8 paracetamol and 8
nurofen
per day. I have been taken this amount for a few weeks and it helps to keep the pain down.

How to get help for hypothyroid B12 deficiency?
I saw several GP's, a cardiologist and 2 endocrinologists and nobody had any suggestions except to take
nurofen
or antidepressants or see a shrink. I saw on this forum about vitamin B12 so even though my blood tests came back normal I took methylcobalamin 500mcg along with a B multivitamin.

Fed up
I get bad cramps so taking
nurofen
for that. On top of it all I've not been given a clear diagnosis. My womb lining was 30mm thick which they don't seem to be concerned about. I'm just feeling so down and I'm not sure if that's the progesterone or just me?

Left Shoulder Pain
I have been taking
nurofen
today which has helped a bit but will see how I get on tonight. I was getting anxious because when you read on the internet some of the things you read for shoulder pain are alarming :(

Gallstones
I've found the following things can "sometimes" help....a nice hot bath,a hot water bottle either on my back or on my side, indigestion tablets,
nurofen
seems more effective than paracetamol.

Temp 39.5c
I've been here before loads of times with him and his sisters and normally I can manage it, by stripping them off and giving Calpol and
Nurofen
at regular intervals. It just concerns me that despite me doing that it's not coming down. He's fine in himself - alert and responsive.

in trouble!
I cannot take
nurofen
, naproxen and the stuff to take to soothe your tummy beforehand omeprazolene. I stuck to paracetamol but then that gave me problems too. These problems are gastric and digestive.

3rd time unlucky!
Full disclosure - I am a codeine addict; I spent 10 years abusing
Nurofen
Plus tablets, taking up to 80 every day. I'm also an alcoholic, triggered by Post Natal Depression. I have been clean and sober for 4 years now, but am constantly vigilant.

Do you need to take OTC painkillers every day?
I don't like taking painkillers but I seem to be taking the main ones, paracetamol and
nurofen
most days now :( It's rare to have a day where I don't need to take one or other of them. I take other painkillers a bit less frequently e.g. CoCodomol and other prescription ones e.g.

Anti inflammatories
Does anyone have recommendations of anti inflammatories which won't rot your guts? I benefit from ibuprofen but am expecting the gastroenterologists to tell me to stop it. They won't allow methotrexate either which is quite a loss. I'd quite like to go to my appointment next Monday with a list of possible
