Nurofen

No relief from Panadol and nurofen but some relief from endone. Do you think it’s a flare or are my adrenals stuttering. What does that feel like?

Already on Fentanyl patch 12 mcg, using Tramadol, Nurofen, Ibuleve, heat pad - what else, what is it? Presume refractured one of 6 older ones but not sure if it would cause this extreme sciatic pain? 😱

Any advice is welcomed and it eases when i take nurofen. ❤️

No other pain medication was taken other than Nurofen once. I never put another dressing on after taking it off. When I showered, I used soap and lifted the skin folds to allow the soapy water to clean.

I had inflammation in my right ear with headache, doctor gave me Otomize, but the headache was still there, went back to the doctor told me to see a pharmacist, they gave me nurofen, didn’t help, went back to the doctor again, they gave me antibiotics and codeine, this seemed to make my headaches worse

However yesterday I started taking nurofen and the swelling in my face has really come down. I also today feel like my throat on either side is sore and a heaviness in my chest like a chest infection, hard to explain. I had a rasher in a fry earlier and it stung going down?

I do use nurofen gel and other topical creams. Ice packs and heat packs. I recently had a heart attack 16 weeks ago so this pain has caused so much anxiety and stress. My pain is pretty constant medication helps a little but generally always there.

I just seem to be experiencing a weird heavy / achy feeling to my right leg - which subsides after some nurofen/paracetamol. I am with at Sheffield Hallamshire under Dr Francis - does anyone know if he's a MPN specialist? Or what's his credentials are. He's a man of few words... That I do know!

I m only using nurofen at the moment and am conscious that nsaids aren’t ideal for patients with blood pressure meds - am on Bisoprolol Many thanks paul

Paracetamol helping a bit but think I read on here that a blast with nurofen once or twice would be ok? Any thoughts please.

was told last week that need a knee replacement- and am in daily discomfort so getting by with a nurofen or two. Has anyone else needed a joint replacement? And if so how did you manage pain with any existing meds.

After doing a drive 200km round trip two weeks ago I feel back to brain fog, fatigue , head aches and takin nurofen most days to get through - I know this is minor compared to others and wha it could be but I was doing so wel before I drove - like almost felt normal ish 😫 I just wonder whether to pursue

Currently supporting Nurofen single-handedly whilst I wait for my next meeting with my consultant. I am not on social media so I have felt pretty isolated with all of it and i haven't really met anyone else my age (40) with this condition, so it has been incredibly fun* so far...

I've suggested she just uses the V-shaped but that doesn't give her enough neck support, now currently she's only on Paracetamol as she has allergies to Co-Codamol and Nurofen/ibuprofen and similar pain killers.

*I am unable to take nurofen or codeine or any painkillers. *I have the strangest feeling in my major muscles; arms and thighs, it almost feels like a toothache or a cramp in the muscles and they feel like they are 'burning' at times. *I am also getting chills and shivers.

Asprin and nurofen do nothing either . I did wonder about sleep apnea but I don’t snore and I’m small so it’s always dismissed . MRI 2 years ago was clear . I would love to know if anyone has the same headache 🤕 and if they have found anything that helps .

I also had a Nurofen 1 hour before bed - a bit of Sciatica pain. I've only had 2 glasses of alcohol in the last 7 weeks and that was 3 weeks ago. Everything normal last 2 days. I'm on daily Flecanide (100mg) and Diltiazem (120mg).

I've tried Naproxen, Nurofen etc, nothing touches the pain. I'm on week 2 now and feel extremely helpless and in agony. I do sit at my desk almost every day and my posture isn't the best but I didn't think it could cause this level of pain.

Apart from an ultra sound scan which confirmed it I have been taking anti inflammatory meds (Nurofen/ Naproxen) and exercising. It has not got any better and I could do with a good nights sleep! I am concerned now as I have Kidney pain and am wondering if the drugs are harming them.

The pain goes after I sit on the loo and empty my bowels and take nurofen. I read that the mini pill doesnt keep endo on the bowels at bay. So is it possible that its still.growing there? Can i increase the hormone dosage as i really dont want surgery.
