Foot Update
Its Morton's
Neuroma
, apparently. Booked in for a biomechanical evaluation with a view to custom orthotics. So that'll be fun... Really hope it works too. My bloody feet are killing me!

Any difference?
This time the consultant (a different one, first I was under an ENT guy now my consultant is a neurosurgeon) calls my tumour a vestibule schwannona now instead of an acoustic
neuroma
. What’s the difference? Thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully reply

Recovery following AN removal
A bit ago I wrote saying that my granddaughter has been diagnosed with a AN. Since then questions are going around our heads. The AN is quite large, just under 4cms, and wrapped around facial nerves as well as the ear nerves. They told her that following her operation she will be totally deaf and could

Size
To my knowledge the size of the
neuroma
is less important than the position in which it is growing.

Morton’s neuroma
Good evening, I have been diagnosed with Morton’s
neuroma
this evening. I have RA but am fortunate enough to be well enough to run 5k three or four times a week. I run because it helps me physically but also mentally.

Result after cyber knife treatment
In September 2017 I have had my cyber knife done in April 2019 I've been told that my accustic
neuroma
shrank by 2mm which is so good news for me and my family. Doctor said that accustic
neuroma
can keep shrinking for some many months after treatment so will see in next result in November time :)

Feeling blue
Of course I googled the life out of it and all the symptoms line up with Morton’s
Neuroma
. I shall see a podiatrist if I can next week, but from what I’ve read, MN is tricky and the last thing you want if you have a HM booked in 6 weeks time. Feeling very blue.

Waiting for Gamma knife
I have been reading posts on this site for months since being diagnosed with an AN in January. I have found it incredibly helpful and would like to say thank you to everyone for that. I have no imbalance problems but I do have hearing loss and tinnitus. I'm worried about the risks and side effects of

Hi, hello, I was diagnosed in January with a small acoustic
neuroma
and told that I would have a scan after 6 months to see if it was growing or just staying the same.

Question about VNG test
I had an acoustic
neuroma
removed in March of 2018. Since then, I've still had issues with vertigo, ear pain and balance. The tinnitus and hearing loss, I've learned to live with. A VNG test was ordered.

Has anyone had a neuroma following pelvic surgery?
As my journey continues, nerve blocks aren't working well, no good relief, 8 months of acute pain.... now being sent to a doctor who cuts nerves and removes neuromas. Possibly nerve entrapments as well. I find any surgeries deliberately cutting nerves quite severe. Does anyone have experience with this

Cyberknife Issues
I had CK in Dec 18 for my right side AN. After one month I had facial twitching. It reduced by using Steriods but came back as soon as I stopped steriods. My first Pre op MRI in March 19 showed that CK is working. However in April twitching stopped and I had facial paralysis, eye problem and mild pain

Mortons Neuroma
I recently had a guided injection for the
neuroma
but still have the same discomfort. Is it worth having another injection and what would an unguided injection cost?

Tinnitus noise!
I've managed everything in life! But "tinnitus" i can't get over! I go to the QE in Birmingham, luckily I badgered for a MRI scan, (has I had missed a few ) turned out it had grown to a point Drs needed to intervene, so I had 40 min or so of radio therapy (ciber knife) i don't know how I managed to get
