Thanks to Joolsg and her responses and recommendation to get the book Clinical Management of Restless Legs Syndrome, I am learning more about my RLS and augmentation. The book is very informative...found it at Amazon.com (by Dr's Lee, Buchfuhrer, Allen and Hening). In my internet searches, I found the article (link below) regarding the link between neuroma and RLS. I have 2 neuromas on my right foot and have suspected for awhile that they may be making the RLS symptoms worse on that side. Then...VOILA...I find this article! I will be seeing my doctor soon on this and will report my results.
On another note, I had thought that Truvia might also be an RLS issue. (Of course, I am trying to stave off the inevitable augmentation issue surrounding Ropinirole as being a culprit). I had noticed that drinking decaf tea in the evening (sweetened with Truvia) seemed to make my RLS worse. I actually stopped drinking tea in the evening altogether, but have also cut my Truvia intake in half. I have had no episodes after going to bed since making the changes.
I do, however, fight with the RLS between 3 and 7pm and spend my time standing in the kitchen or sitting on a hard chair at the counter, as a comfy chair or couch only makes it worse. This I will attribute to the neuroma, until I find out otherwise. Those of you who are wiser are probably right, in that I am augmenting on my Ropinirole. That, is for another, later Dr's visit. At least, I am getting some sleep at night...for now.
The link I promised above, on neuroma is as follows:
