Has anyone had a neuroma following pelvic surgery?

As my journey continues, nerve blocks aren't working well, no good relief, 8 months of acute pain.... now being sent to a doctor who cuts nerves and removes neuromas. Possibly nerve entrapments as well. I find any surgeries deliberately cutting nerves quite severe. Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you v much!

I haven't had a neuroma but the doctor suspects I may do, in my abdomen. Although, he dismissed the idea and has ignored the possibility. Do they show under the skin? I have booked with a neurosurgeon to find some ideas. Gynaecologists seem to not know much about pelvic nerves. I will follow this post and see how you get on. I hope it goes well for you :) Hang in there!

Can you say where the incision was for this type of pelvic surgery, and was it successful?

I had a number of surgeries to deal with different branches of the nerve in question- the incisions will vary according to the surgeons access point depending on what nerve is damaged- there are many nerves in the pelvic area-

Doyler, I am suffering from this issue. Can you share with us if your treatment was successful? I have neuroma(s) from unsuccessful hernia surgeries. Any info/response is appreciated. Did the "live testing" you refer to successfully locate the problem? What is your condition today?

Live testing definitely pin down the problematic nerve- it may not be necessary for a nerve with a neuroma as this can be see in ultrasound - I’m currently weeks out from 3 surgeries where I had nerves resection and decompression so still in recovery but the nerve pain seems to be gone
