Unilateral deafness and constant tinnitus in 1 ear will a hearing aid help?
- so fast forward March this year I had ENT appointment - had MRI (without contrast) in May to check for acoustic
neuroma
- that apparently is clear - and was told I would be getting a hearing aid for my bad right ear. Has anyone had this? Did the hearing aid work?

awaiting diagnosis from MRI suspected AN
I will find out tomorrow if I have AN - had MRI done just over 2 weeks ago - no contrast - had no follow up appointment booked - but that has come through fairly fast. I did call ENT department just on the 2 week point expecting them to say it would be a couple of weeks - and they told me appointment

Hearing blood pumping in my ear.
I was diagnosed about a year ago with an acoustic
neuroma
on the right side. As of last October, when I had my last MRI it was about 7mm in size. My doctor keeps telling me that I don't want to have surgery done if I don't absolutely need it.

Why does it take along time to get into a specialist about Acoustic
Neuroma
in Pittsburgh. Do they really care? Cannot hear, dizzy all the time.

That was followed by carpal tunnel doctor, then I got a frozen shoulder, then a
neuroma
in my left foot, then odd sensations in my left leg. Nurse practitioner said it was PD, Neuro doc said it wasn't.

Shin splints!!!!
I have recently had orthotics made for my trainers as I over pronate and have a Morton’s
Neuroma
so have had to see a podiatrist. I’ve slowly bedded them in! I have had to have full gait analysis and subsequently bought new trainers (brooks transcend6) to house my insoles!

Visit to my Physio yesterday - Update.
He is sure that these will help my Morton’s
neuroma
and just generally make my running and race walking easier. Now I wish I had gone weeks ago, but I am terrible about putting things like this off 😀. So these are all now part of my April Challenge, Have a great week everyone Rfc x

mortons neuroma
Has anyone had mortons
neuroma
? I had an ultrasound on my feet which showed no neuromas but I have all the pain and symptoms for it. My doctor has dismissed it because it wasn't visible in the US. I have had no other testing for it or anything else.

Acoustic Neuroma Diagnosis
Hi everyone, I was wondering how all of you were first diagnosed with AN. I've been experiencing many odd neurological symptoms as well as severe ear problems and hypersensitivity to sound since 2012. I developed anisocoria (dilated pupil) back in 2010 and all the other symptoms have since followed.

Acoustic neuroma advice if possible
So I was diagnosed with an acoustic
neuroma
middle of last year or there abouts. It’s approximately 8mm squared and about 2mm from the brains liquid. Sorry not sure what the liquid is called. I had an mri last year and have another mri due end of January to see if it’s grown.

Hi all, Hoping all's going well... This is a a follow-up to a previous post which many of you were kind enough to reply to - now we're 6 months down the line from the initial diagnosis... My friend was diagnosed with AN last year and just had a second MRI to see if it was growing - apparently it isn't
