How long diagnosis after MRI
I have an MRI scan booked later this week for what I expect the doctors think is a AN, I have tinnitus on my right ear only, but good hearing in both ears. How long after an MRI is typical for the doctors to let you know if it's an AN?

Foot problem.
Has anyone suffered with a Morton’s
neuroma
? If so did it recover on its own or were injections required. This last 6 months since upping my distance to (16K) I’ve had problems with my toes going numb and a pain in the ball of my foot.

Hello everyone,
I was diagnosed with accoustic
neuroma
almost 3 yrs ago and have been awaiting treatment to remove it. Covid has delayed any further consultations or scans. I live in the North East of Scotland and have to travel to Aberdeen for any appointments.

Is Acoustic Neuroma Passed to the Next Generation?
He has Acoustic
Neuroma
(unilateral) and although Google says it is not hereditary, could someone share their experience if it's safe for us to have children. We would appreciate any guidance.

I have had my tumour for 7 years and been on a watch and wait with MRI scans every year but now it has got to the stage it needs treatment I thought I was going to have Radiotherapy but when I went to the consultant he explains it is too big so needs to be removed by surgery could do with some feedback

Referral
Hi. I recently went for an hearing test, knew my hearing one side was not good. After the test he asked me some questions ‘did I have have tinnitus in one side’ Yes. Did I have facial numbness - yes. He then dropped the bombshell that he suspected a tumour. Eventually got to see my doctor who referred

Interesting find, b6 as well as b12, and diabetes
I discovered by chance last week that I have a genetic thing called Morton’s toe, not the same as Morton’s
neuroma
. It’s a longer second toe and toe joint. Causes plantar fasciitis amongst other stuff, that’s how I came across it.

Today, we'd like to hear how your acoustic neuroma has impacted your social life.
Has there been an impact on your partner? Parents? Children? Friends? Or other extended family members?

Case study request for hearing loss
Looking for someone in their 50 s who was recently diagnosed with hearing loss after a test and had a more unusual cause ( we already have people with age related hearing loss , tinnitus , loud noise damage ) - so perhaps something like acoustic
neuroma
on sudden sensorineural hearing loss, adult glue

What do you know now that you wish you had been told when you were first diagnosed with a AN?
What general advice would you give a person who has been newly diagnosed with Acoustic
Neuroma
?
