Flecainide is my friend
Just wanted to report a good thing. After two happy years on only PIP, I had a really rough a fib event that lasted maybe 12 hours and threw in some flutter while it was trying to quit... so EP and cardiologist tag teamed me into agreeing to take daily meds.. think about ablation. I cannot multitask,

Has anyone tried Livia and does it work for endo pain?
Has anyone tried the Livia machine (mini tens machine) for the pain? I bought one a while back but am too scared to use it ! People I know with endo have recommended it but I'm scared what if it's dangerous as it's essentially electric pulses!? X

Is there always a headache when you have meningitis?
Hi I’m from Russia so sorry for my English. I think I might have meningitis, but doctors disregard my suspicions. I have pain in back of my neck and subfebrile fewer (37.4). I feel very extraordinarily unwell. But I don’t have a headache except neckpain. Is headache always there with meningitis or not

Steroid injection
I have had steroid injections now in my lumber facet joints. It was a very painful procedure for me, they advised I had a curved spine and parts of my spine are fused to my pelvis, fully on the left and partially on the right. Which is why it was so painful. I had not known about this before I had this

Immediate post operative masseter-to-facial nerve transfer.
This was in August last year. Scar obviously looks rather raw and savage. Its literally hours after surgery. The scar has since faded significantly and the response from the nerve transfer is even better than expected by the specialists at this stage.

Immediate post operative masseter-to-facial nerve transfer
This immediately post operative, scar looks very scary but very quickly healed and faded. Mind you it's pretty much hidden under my beard.

Headaches following meningitis.
Hi my son Joe had pneumococcal meningitis and septacaemia at the age of 9 months. He thankfully survived but suffered brain damage to do with coordinating movement down one side. He went on to be the first child at nursery to ride a bike at the age of 3 without stabilisers! He is now 12 and doing great

Flying with SVT.
I'm having to fly for the first time since I've been diagnosed with SVT back in 2015 of May. I've had two ablations and when I come back from my trip on May 29th I go through my third ablation. Since then they have put me back on cardizem and they've had me on Xanax for a while. Has anyone ever flown

I HAVE MISSED YOU ALL
They are going to try a special
nerve
block
for the knee, and then see what they can do for the lower back, but he wasn't optimistic about the knee pain. Not really great news because when that beast starts up, I fall like a ton of bricks.

Why does it cost us so much just to get better!
My bone of contention is that most of us pay privately. Like me , most can’t work because of the pain. Even if you had medical coverage you only get 5 sessions, in Canada anyways. 5 sessions is only the beginning. Yes it truly is! This is a true medical problem that should be covered some way or how
