NERVE BLOCK INJECTION
Ive got neurological itch, which I am putting down to fibromyalgia, and I'm booked in for
nerve
block
injections. Im worried it could possibly make things worse, as my body tends to over react to treatments with more pain.

nerve block injections
He is referring me to another specialist with a view to
nerve
block
injections on my knees and wants me to also use lidocaine patches. My question to all of you helpful lovely people is have any of you experienced both of these treatments and were they effective in reducing pain levels?

I have arranged nerve conduction studies myself to see if it is
nerve
damage causing this, if so maybe a
nerve
block
....I don't know.....but I have to take over my treatment now as nobody gives a shit anymore. I have started acupunture and reflexology to see if that helps.

lidocaine infusion?
Most recently a
nerve
block
which went wrong and left me in worse pain. My last option is a lidocaine infusion which I am waiting for. I take Pregablin/codeine/migraine meds etc If anyone has any info/suggestions/advice I would be very grateful.

Burned Nerves for Spinal Stenosis..
Morning everyone, I had a temporary
nerve
block
the other day in 6 points around my spine. It seemed to work, the surgeon mentioned the next step would be to burn the nerves but this would only give 6 months - 1 year of relief. I just wondered if anybody here has had this done?

Spinal Nerve Damage
For some reason, the person doing the previous injections was changed to an Anesthesiologist who did a Medial Branch
Nerve
Block
test (in 4 lower vertebrae) to see if affected
nerve
can be pain blocked. The result was positive (temporary relief). This is a life saver.

My Right Shoulder Repair
The anaesthetist came and told me about the
nerve
block
, then the surgeon arrived and explained what he was doing. A repir, trimming and burring the spur. All through 3 holes at the top of my shoulder. On time at 1.30pm. Awoke and had sandwiches @ 4pm.

Nerve block for wrist surgery
Just wondering if anyone has had experience of an operation under
Nerve
Block
as opposed to General Anaesthetic. I have just had a plate put in my wrist due to a fall and besides it being the worst experience of my life, my Fibromyalgia has drastically worsened.

iron lab results 10 weeks post iron infusion
I have had four iron infusions in the last 2 years. 10 weeks ago I received Injectafer 1000 mg with so-so results. I had seen a hematologist at my neurologist/Sleep specialist’s urging out of his concern for my out of whack lab numbers. The hematologist was not concerned. I gave my sleep, specialist

brain injury
Hi, I got hammered in the back of the skull 2.5 years ago and have had constant migraines since… been on everything from Botox, Aimigov, nerve blocks, but I have still got them … struggle with low energy, low mood.. I did get migraines before the accident.. but they were episodic… I can’t work or socialise

Nerve Block for Pudendal Neuralgia
I am scheduled for a
nerve
block
for suspected Pudendal Neuralgia. It was explained to me thoroughly and I've read up a bit - I try not to have too many expectations, but it seems potentially promising in addressing some pain and at the very least will provide some clarity.

Ahhhh well, I guess it could be worse!
A while back, I was seen by a lady at the pain clinic, who said that I have ‘Scoliosis convex to the right with minor anterior vertebral body height loss at T12, L3 and L4. Disc space narrowing at the lumbosacral level with hypertrophy of the lower lumbar facet joints’. The pain is really intense,

Constant Back Pain
I just had a medial bilateral
nerve
block
in my lower back. Miserable that I feel like it didn’t work. I heard about ablations. Do the ablations work? Any thoughts on if an ablation would be better than another
nerve
block
? What questions would be good to ask my doctor?

GON Block
I think I started to notice Tinnitus more after having the GON
Block
(greater Occipital
Nerve
Block
), for migraine. recently I have had to start taking antidepressants and Propranalol because of a major change in job roles.
