Need advice about fistula please
I had a
nerve
block
in my arm that they told me would last for 18 to 24 hours and it was already starting to wear off while I was in recovery. A few hours later and it was almost completely worn off. The nurse said they didn’t give me enough of the
nerve
block
.

NERVE BLOCK INJECTION
Ive got neurological itch, which I am putting down to fibromyalgia, and I'm booked in for
nerve
block
injections. Im worried it could possibly make things worse, as my body tends to over react to treatments with more pain.

He is referring me to another specialist with a view to
nerve
block
injections on my knees and wants me to also use lidocaine patches. My question to all of you helpful lovely people is have any of you experienced both of these treatments and were they effective in reducing pain levels?

Treatment has hit a wall. I can not sit without pain.
On top of that, the nerve blocks I have been getting to try to help this pain for years, like pudendal
nerve
block
, trigger point injections into my pelvic floor, si joint injections, and caudal injections — I have been getting them since August as well; nothing has worked to improve the pain at all

Nerve damage
They will be doing a
nerve
block
. Hopefully it will work. Maybe pain management might be helpful for you. I have found that the neuropathy thing confounds doctors. I also will be starting Trugap soon after 6 years on Ibrance. Oh the fun never stops. Also have hip pain. Onc thinks it's cancer.

Pain management pudendal neuralgia
He said if meds don’t work then
nerve
block
& if still no joy that I would have to see a specialist which would be miles away as no one local deals with PN. I am getting worried regarding timescale & my osteopath thinks that the nerve is compressed somewhere.

Update on Spinal nerve block
In the past, I asked if others had the spinal radio-frequency ablation procedure for back pain. I had bad back pain and was considering doing it and wonder if anyone had issues with it. Well, I'm happy to report that I had the procedure yesterday and have experienced immediate pain relief. . I have

Need Relief
I have also had a Celiac Plexis
Nerve
Block
which provided some pain relief (~20%?). I am almost always in mild to moderate pain with severe flareups on occasion (every 4 weeks or so). I have had no pain medication prescribed outside of the ED and my quality of life is not good/poor.

I have arranged nerve conduction studies myself to see if it is
nerve
damage causing this, if so maybe a
nerve
block
....I don't know.....but I have to take over my treatment now as nobody gives a shit anymore. I have started acupunture and reflexology to see if that helps.

Spinal Nerve Damage
For some reason, the person doing the previous injections was changed to an Anesthesiologist who did a Medial Branch
Nerve
Block
test (in 4 lower vertebrae) to see if affected
nerve
can be pain blocked. The result was positive (temporary relief). This is a life saver.

lidocaine infusion?
Most recently a
nerve
block
which went wrong and left me in worse pain. My last option is a lidocaine infusion which I am waiting for. I take Pregablin/codeine/migraine meds etc If anyone has any info/suggestions/advice I would be very grateful.

My Right Shoulder Repair
The anaesthetist came and told me about the
nerve
block
, then the surgeon arrived and explained what he was doing. A repir, trimming and burring the spur. All through 3 holes at the top of my shoulder. On time at 1.30pm. Awoke and had sandwiches @ 4pm.

Burned Nerves for Spinal Stenosis..
Morning everyone, I had a temporary
nerve
block
the other day in 6 points around my spine. It seemed to work, the surgeon mentioned the next step would be to burn the nerves but this would only give 6 months - 1 year of relief. I just wondered if anybody here has had this done?
