Hi my dear friends, well I haven’t managed to get to the docs yet, but I have seen a chiropractor about my terrible cramping lower back pain, I found a coupon on groupon excellent value, after the third visit the price goes up to£40 a session😳😳😩..but I’m going to have a few more see if it works, but at the mo it’s just nice having a massage ( my husbands bad at it)😂😂. I’ve bought a tens machine too,(in the post) do any of you use one? AND I’ve ordered cbd oil from CBD brothers, so I’ve made a lot of positive steps thanks to you all, you gave me support, information and love and kindness, thank you all my dear freinds❤️❤️❤️😘😘..

Great you are trying different things to help yourself, my husband uses tens machine says brilliant. I tend to use warm hottie on bottom of back except when it’s really hot weather. I do use deep heat etc sometimes , I am thinking of a hydro bath that seems to be coming up a lot from people investing in one , but do enjoy my baths with Epsom salts and lavender oil, I’m not a shower person even though we’ve a wet room. I do have a treat now and again at the spa have you tried the hot stones massage ??? Xxxx

Iv had fibromyalgia for 15 years and I can’t be touch by by no one it makes it worse I ordered some CBD oil Fro CBD brothers they took the money and nothing arrived ! I spoke to them on the phone there full of bull Iff you got Fibromyalgia you concentrate on the doctors a chiropractor won’t help you waist of money Have you been diagnosed with fibromyalgia?

We must all be different; I would not rely on doctors for fibromyalgia treatment as it's basically pain relief/ pain clinic. The fibromyalgia diagnosis is only one of exclusion. My 'chiropractor' now has to call herself a spinal therapist as she was McTimoney trained in the very gentle methodology and as two different types of chiropractor (the other being far more aggressive, also using X-rays) combined in a single professional body , many of the McTimoney ones left. But she is great , I have acute spinal misalignments, but also get general aches in ribs, shoulders etc that are 'mended'.

in reply to Judithdalston

I’m glad it works for you I do believe that they are good for spine injury In fact years ago they helped me But most people with severe Fibromyalgia suffer from chronic pain that can’t be cured by a chiropractor If you go to NHS choices look up fibromyalgia it says wide areas pain of the limbs

Maybe you could try some gentle yoga, and maybe a gentle swim etc,? take your mind of negativity, encourage people to try things without you trying to put them off, we’re all feeling pretty shit without are so called freinds sticking the boot in.

in reply to Skyla2

I’m not sticking the boot in I’m simply saying it don’t work for me I do gentle swimming but could not do yoga as my feet and legs are in too much pain Most people with fibromyalgia wouldn’t be able to go any were near a chiropractor . Iv had a go at acupuncture that did nothing I use CBD oil in a smoking device that helps to get some sleep If you think a chiropractor will help you then I hope it works We are all friends on this site as we all have fibromyalgia and most have been diagnosed by the NHS who have been a great help to most of us I hope you have a peaceful night .

I don’t understand, most people with fibro wouldn’t be able to go to a Ciropractor?? When your in so so much pain, and have tried all medication the nhs offer, and are so desperate for some help, you would try anything,

in reply to Skyla2

Trust me please Any one who’s got the real Fibromyalgia would not go to a chiropractor Fibromyalgia is wide spread Chronic pain that affects all four limbs , hands and fingers The condition is a horrible numbing cramp pain with you muscles tighting up It even hurts just to touch it Let alone be pulled about you wouldn’t walk for days Sorry Sky2 I know your trying to help I think you will find

Most members will agree We can have light massage with Eveeno cream and Fenbid forty 5 % Mg from the doctor

I don’t see him for my fibro I see him for my major lower back pain and spasms that are enabling me to even stand up straight that is what he is try to work on I’m completely bent forward so he is helping me to strengthen and straighten my spine, I have this to deal with as well as all the rest of the things you keep telling me about that a real fibro sufferer goes through, I’ve been to see a neurologist, pain clinics, etc etc and have had fibro for 7 years, I also have osteoarthritis which has messed up my fingers and toes so I feel useless, I’m just trying anything many so I can walk a little bit because at the mo I can’t and I would love to go shopping even if it was just for an hour and not be in pain.

in reply to Skyla2

Yes I agree any thing that helps Sorry your so destessed

Tens is an effective short term distraction once you learn how to place the pads and get the intensity correct.

I use CBD oil, helps with the muscle rigidity and keeps me off the pain meds during the day. Get mine off eBay, stronger than CBD brothers and tastes better.

Cramping is muscular, chiropractors usually only deal with skeletal problems, maybe seeing a soft tissue specialist like a sports therapist would be more beneficial. Edit I moved I was having one a week, now that I can’t find a new therapist I’m suffering.

I’ve been doing some research, light therapy and resistance training both show promise in pilot trials so these are my next steps

If you go to the sellers page they are still listing single bottles, there three bottle deal is out of stock.

Hopefully they will be getting more in as it’s the best I’ve found.

There are two different types of Chiropractic accredited in the UK. One is quite strenuous (European School of Chiropractic) and there is a much more gentle one (McTimoney). I have used both in the past, but I find the European method too rough for me, and greatly prefer the McTimoney, although I haven't been for awhile.
