Should I be concerned?
Back and GP Dr's. both suggested a celiac plexus
nerve
block
which was scheduled for this Monday. I have been dealing with this pain for 6 weeks. The pain is mostly when sitting up so I haven't drove since biopsy.

Anyone with symptoms like mine?
It started with high fever, a recurring headache and red welts across my chest. I hate being ill - and hospitals - so begrudgingly went to the local hospital with my wife only to be told I had shingles and should be put in a ward immediately. However, that hospital did not a full-time skin doctor

Using Botox but occasional big migraine break outs
Had to go get a steroid injection occipital
nerve
block
injection to try and stop it. Does anyone else get wild break through migraine episodes? It appears that multiple things tip me over, fatigue, over work, stress, sore neck, etc then it hits and it’s hard to get it back.

Shingles vaccine
My GP is recommending I get the shingles vaccine. I thought I had read that PMR (which I have) can be a side effect of the vaccine. I am asking what you think.

Has anyone used a product called Quell?
I was wondering if any of you wonderful people have heard of or used Quell? It is a tens type unit that seems simple, no outlying electrodes, just goes around your calf. You adjust the relief. It is supposed to release naturally occurring opioids from your brain, providing all over pain relief. It is

Progress Report
I had a
nerve
block
done that really helped and made a turn for the better with the pain. Once that was done I scheduled a second cardioversion. Interestingly enough a couple days before, which was close to 2 weeks of more flutter, I converted on my own and have been in NRS for almost 3 weeks now.

I think I have Peripheral Neuropathy ...
I've had
Nerve
block
injections that only make it worse and have been on so much medication but the Pain Management consultant told me to stop the gabapentin because it isnt working but hasnt given me anything in its place. I have spent most of my day writhing and actually screaming in pain.

Am i tempting fate?
Hi everyone on Planet AF. I haven't posted on here since my first Cryo Ablation exactly six months ago. Having read the devestating news about our beloved Bob (OUR ROCK) being dealt a below the belt punch anything I have to say seems insignificant. I'm sure all of us had that heart sinking feeling as

Going round in circles
I have another appointment at my GP today (having seen them at least once a week for the past 2 months) to try and sort my pain levels out. I suffer with chronic back, hip and joint pain - no official diagnosis as of yet but GP is worried about the instability of my hip joint. It clunks out of place

Please can you make recommendations / suggestions for a good Long Haul, Long Stay (couple of months) Travel Insurance, for someone in the UK, with PAF and on daily Anticoagulant and Beta Blocker

Atrial tachycardia
Hi, I have just been diagnosed with atrial tachycardia and atrial ectopic salvo runs. This came through via letter after my implantable loop recorder picked it up. Please can anyone give me any info? There's not much online relating to adults. Is this something that's treated? It sure feels dangerous

Post ablation my A-Fib is gone. Without discussing it with my doc, I stopped Pradaxa, metoprolol & Crestor. Am I crazy?

Hopeless...nothing will get better
Hi everyone. I have been a long time sufferer of depression and anxiety (both diagnosed, and treated with meds and psychotherapy). I'm a 47 year old man, married over 20 years, and the only thing that makes my life worth living anymore is my 11 year old daughter, that I love more than life itself. I'm
