Immediate post operative masseter-to-facial nerve transfer
This immediately post operative, scar looks very scary but very quickly healed and faded. Mind you it's pretty much hidden under my beard.

Headaches following meningitis.
Hi my son Joe had pneumococcal meningitis and septacaemia at the age of 9 months. He thankfully survived but suffered brain damage to do with coordinating movement down one side. He went on to be the first child at nursery to ride a bike at the age of 3 without stabilisers! He is now 12 and doing great

I HAVE MISSED YOU ALL
They are going to try a special
nerve
block
for the knee, and then see what they can do for the lower back, but he wasn't optimistic about the knee pain. Not really great news because when that beast starts up, I fall like a ton of bricks.

Flying with SVT.
I'm having to fly for the first time since I've been diagnosed with SVT back in 2015 of May. I've had two ablations and when I come back from my trip on May 29th I go through my third ablation. Since then they have put me back on cardizem and they've had me on Xanax for a while. Has anyone ever flown

So since about November 2015 I've been having strange symptoms they started as weird confusion spells and then slowly became a huge increase in eyefloaters really bad fatigue and worsening confusion spells. Lately I've been feeling all around my face and behind my ears and i feel tiny lumps I'm worried

Why does it cost us so much just to get better!
My bone of contention is that most of us pay privately. Like me , most can’t work because of the pain. Even if you had medical coverage you only get 5 sessions, in Canada anyways. 5 sessions is only the beginning. Yes it truly is! This is a true medical problem that should be covered some way or how

So as my lap might not be until oct/Nov, I am really worried about all the pain and having to take more time off work etc. I'm currently on and there is no chance I can get out of bed. Does anyone have any pain relief that has helped them? Even a just a little bit? I have tried naproxen, TENS machine

TENS for severe lower back pain
Hi guys. I got a TEN's machine last week as I needed more than my pills. I see why TEN's can be helpful. My problem is my pain is so horrible that I need to turn it up so high it starts to sting on my back. I only tend to use the device when I have extra pain. My pain meds cover me but only for mild

Streptococcal meningitis
Hi, I had Streptococcal meningitis when I was 16, I am now 26 and wondering will this affect me my ability to get pregnant and if I get pregnant will be okay? I read that 25% of women have this bacteria in their bodies anyway so I can assume I still do. Has anyone had Streptococcal meningitis not while
